Good prep for the debate tonight!
I do hope W takes the gloves off. Cheney opened up the line with some good offense a couple of days ago.
Let's roll!

Why would it have to be a wash? W can weave his answers to any question about the WMD's into a slap in the face to sKerry and his beliefs in the UN, getting France and Germany on board and all the other BS sKerry's come up with.

I think he was saying that stuff more or less to mock Begala and Carville.
Although you have to figure he is an unpaid advisor to the President all the time over the past three and a half years by virtue of hosting his radio show (which I am certain people in Bush's administration listen to).

The SAKR-18 has a range of about 20km, approx. 13 miles. That might be one reason the administration isn't touting these as a WMD find. IOW, if they did, they'd get criticized because the range isn't long enough to be a "threat" to the U. S.
We might win that debate in the fine details of the threat they were to U. S. interests in the area, but the sheeple would be yawning. So, we don't go down that path.
Even so, this is a WMD find, and 41 rockets, with indications that there are others out there, certainly qualifies as a stockpile, IMO.

"... possibility .... similar rounds remain at large" OH... but don't worry... John F'n Kerry says they are NO threat..

The reason it's a do or die matter is the President single handedly re-ignited the Kerry campaign last week. For all intents and purposes, it was on it's last legs. The President graciously gave Kerry the necessary CPR to carry on. At this stage of the game, Kerry should have been down by 15 points even by the polls most biased toward him. He's got a fighting chance now.

Don't follow the debate by FR live thread!!!!!!
I made that mistake last week. The thread was the most depressing time I have ever had on FR. It was filled with newbies, plants, trolls and every negative poster in the FR community. As soon as President Bush appeared on stage the "he's lost the election" comments flooded out. Seems to me it was quite coordinated and it worked.
I am planning on forcing myself to watch the debate. My reactions I can trust. I do not enjoy these pressure filled events and I loathe Kerry but I am watching.
Good luck to the Twins! I'm a Braves fan. Maybe we'll repeat '91 (Braves winning this time lol)

Ideally, Kerry would down a shot of Old Loudmouth before the debate, which would be conducted by TOM Lehrer. It would definitely be more interesting to watch.

Just the fact that Bush's people agreed to this dumb format UNDECIDED VOTERS BS shows again how stupid and cowed they are
I would have refused and said we want a format where there are 5 or so democrats submitting questions to Bush and 5 or so Republicans ( verified ) submitting questions to Kerry
That way we don't get 10 democrats submitting questions and if Kerry and the MSM complain TOUGH TAKE IT OR LEAVE It
This debate is a DAMN CHARADE

During the last debate, I kept saying, "Kerry's just plain lying!" (And he was, of course). How can the moderators let Kerry keep telling out and out lies?
It would be different if it were a difference of opinion, but Kerry is LYING!
Surely, our president's people have coached Bush on how to deal with this "multiple onslaught of lies" that Kerry spews - without hindrance from the press (or moderators)....
Kerry's people are depending on NOT being challenged by the press (or moderators) and that Bush WILL NOT have time to rebut properly. They know what Kerry is saying is untrue....

Why didn't the Bush team secretly use RUSH to help in debate prep? Sheesh.

I was more PO'd the way the dreadlocked DUmmy acted about the American Flag. What a pathetic excuse for a human being.
