Good prep for the debate tonight!
I do hope W takes the gloves off. Cheney opened up the line with some good offense a couple of days ago.
Let's roll!
Really, I thought pills were his thing.
(bad, I know, couldn't resist)
Probably a fine cigar.
I think Rush sounds a little confounded himself about how to confront all of the Kerry lies.
Kerry lies , and no one questions him on the lies.
Then we expect W to answer in a 90 second rebuttal about 5 or 6 lies that Kerry has just spewed.
Without media to ask questions of both candidates before and after the debates, it's an uphill fight.
Notice all the MSM brought up Cheney's "lie" about meeting Edwards, but none of the media brough up Edwards misstatements.
As Rush has always said, if you're expecting the media to carry water for a Republican you're sadly mistaken, but he even seems astounded by the lack of integrity in the media this year.
"... possibility .... similar rounds remain at large"
Never try one on an empty stomach!
Despite what Rush wishes and reality. This is a "do-or-die" debate for the President. The press is engaging in a full frontal assault on his policies.
SHINSEKI
Rush is stomping on his own point.
Bush should use a variation of your tagline tonight. He should wait until some mention of "Wrong War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time" and then correct whoever says it by saying that Kerry would always be the wrong choice, at the wrong time to be President. I won't be holding my breath waiting to hear it though.
I was yelling throughout the Vice Presidential Debate that what Cheney was saying was what Bush should have said in the first debate. I have a feeling he will do better tonight. I think he was trying to be diplomatic to his fellow bonesman last time. He should know that doesn't get you anywhere. Shows to Go ya that being members of the same clubs don't equate to civility. Gloves off Dubya!!!
my eyes..my eyes
He sure is!!! BTTT!!
sorry, i was very passionate about all that when i was emptying my brain, just letting off some steam and frustration over Kerry's blather and the MSM's communist views.
the problem IS we are not confronting the media on how THEY have turned this into a do or die matter! it is only because John Kerry is so poor in all the other presidential qualifications that they are the ones spinning this as do or die. if their guy was not a strong liar who could pop those babies out by the dozen without batting an eye, they would be focusing on the other qualities a president needs such as character, a record, an agenda....
we should rebel.
Right on. The MSM has the sad ability to spin questions FOR KERRY AND WILL N-E-V-E-R HIT KERRY WITH ANY KEY QUESTIONS THAT PUT KERRY ON THE SPOT forcing him to explain.
The whole picuture sucks -- its bad. Bush has to take the initiative and STRONGLY overriding the highly biased questions that attempt to set him up...just watch, and listen, that is what will happen, IMHO.
Lets all pray and fast for the President today.
E-mail Rush and ask him to go on XM radio. I have been e-mailing Rush and XM to try to get him on there. Ever since the last dept reorg I can no longer get AM radio even on my CC radio. But I can receive XM w/o problem. I ask your help.
THANKS!
Rush said a few weeks ago that he is an un-paid advisor to the Bush campaign. True? And if so, did he advise last week for the debate? And...if so, why didn't W listen to him?
Yes, watching tonight's debate will be hard work; everybody knows that.
Rush has a good point that if Charlie Gobson doesn't 'find' any questions on OFF, Kerry's record, etc that the debate will be a wash.
