Better just to hug the terrorists and let them know they can have a safe and warm environment from which to plan the slaughter of more civilians.

Send the IDF down into Egypt and bring the victims up. Incursion, invasion, whatever they want to call it. Tell Pharoah, WAR: You want some?

Red Sea is delightful place to snorkel, et al.

It was - until the Saudis started their practice of dropping condemned men into the Red Sea from airplanes.

They say the sharks have developed a taste for human flesh now.

I hope Israel does whatever it has to do to protect itself -- but there is a difference between tough and stupid. Israel doing whatever it has to do to survive and thrive always --that's tough. People who write bile-filled rants on a website -- not tough.

IDF Radio: IDF saying looks like a terror car bomb, or terror truck bomb, also IDF is aware of possible terror attacks in different parts of Sinai in addition to the one at the hotel.

My note: also remember this holiday of Sukkot and also Simchat Torah which is occuring these days:

The festival of Sukkot, also known as Chag'ha Succot, the "Feast of Booths" (or Tabernacles), is named for the huts (sukkah) that Moses and the Israelites lived in as they wandered the desert for 40 years before they reached the Promised Land. These huts were made of branches and were easy to assemble, take apart, and carry as the Israelites wandered through the desert.

About Simchat Torah

Simchat Torah and Shemini Atzeret are one day. Outside the Land of Israel, however, where all Festivals are observed for two days, they are separate. The first day is reserved for the joy of the Festival and for the prayers for rain, while the second day is reserved for the celebration of the conclusion of the cycle of reading from the Torah. (Some communities have the custom of making hakafot on Shemini Atzeret at night, to show that the two days are not actually two separate Festivals.) In Israel, where Simchat Torah is not celebrated on a separate day - since all Festivals are observed for a single day, the customs of Simchat Torah are observed together with those of Shemini Atzeret.

Simchat Torah comes on the last day of the festivities. At this time the last portion of the Torah is read, and since we never finish the Torah reading, we begin the reading from the very beginning again to show the Torah is beloved to us like a "new command to which everyone runs". This is a very happy occasion. All the Torah scrolls are taken from the Ark and carried in a parade around the synagogue seven times. We rejoice, sing and dance with the Torahs, for the reestablishment of our covenant with the Torah as a groom rejoices with his bride. For the Torah is betrothed to Israel as a wife is to her husband.

Children are given gifts of candy and fruit because it is stated that the "commandments of the L-rd are sweeter than honey."

The joyful dancing takes place the preceding evening as well as during the morning services.

"...blow up the pyramids. ..."

Destroy Mecca is more likely a better solution.

The pyramids were not built by Muslims.

You might want to look up FReeper Jeffhead and his book which was partially excerpted on FR recently. He seems to have it (the solution) correct in my view.

I've lived in the Middle East with the Arabs and Muslims.

I know what they can be like, so shush!

We have to totally destroy the death cultists if we want peace and if that means getting rid of Mecca and Medina, then so be it.

I believe the English had to face some of the Indian death cults in the 1700 and 1800's.

Maybe some are filled with hatred for the scum that blow up buildings filled with innocent women, children, and men celebrating and spending money that would go to the benefit of the Egyptian people. Maybe they are sick of seeing this going on and on and on with no final solution because of those who worship the baals and the astartes and the allahs and the golden calves of the United Nations.

I don't agree with all of it, but I understand. In this case I believe an incursion is justified, nay demanded by the circumstances. If it means war then "let there be victory or let no one come back alive."

Ynet (Translation)

Israel is demanding Egypt allow Israelis pass the border without having to have passports back into Israel.

Sinai, Egypt has between 10 to 15,000 Israeli tourists, according to Israeli Foreign Ministry estimates.

Egypt has not yet responded.

Yoni, I can't thank you enough for the incredible job you're doing reporting on this terrorist attack (or attacks). You're better informed and are giving us more information than any news station, MSM or cable.

Hate begets hate, no matter whose side you're on. There are some pretty hateful comments on this thread so far, and they serve no useful purpose.

Grow up and realize this. You want to sound witty and clever but these animals want you dead.

The extermination is Islam is the ONLY thing that will stop them from eventually coming to kill you.

Mark my words, Beslan will eventually happen in the USA. And when it does, go tell your "hate begats hate" line to a muslim. We no longer want to here it.

Numerous Israelis had hotel were not affected by explosion in big way because they were eating at the time at the hotel restaurant (Israeli media).

Israeli rescue official says energy system around hotel is not working, and darkness hinders work. (IDF Radio).

People thought to be still trapped in debris.
