Just back on. Haven't checked all posts.

Adding to school threat.

Details are sketchy. Not all information is being shared with the public yet.

During Valentine's Dance, roughly 20 children were pricked by sharp object.

Preliminary tests on several are starting to test positive for Hepititus C.

"School Set to Reopen After Mercury Spill"
Updated: Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 - 2:47 PM

UDPATE: "WASHINGTON -

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "About two ounces of mercury was spilled at the school, and while short-term exposure to a small amount generally won't do much harm, federal health officials say exposure to high levels of mercury can damage the brain and kidneys.

The Environmental Protection Agency oversaw the cleanup.

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday and charged with illegal dumping of a hazardous material, said Sgt. Joe Gentile of the D.C. police."
