Reliable?? Forget it! Forrrrrrrget it!! You know how many times I have to boot my computer before it works? Anywhere from 5 to 15 times..I tried evrything everything and everytime I boot it it either locks up or everything doesn`t load, so then I have to boot it again and again and again and again. I know in the old Windows they use to have the autoexec and config.sys files that would do the booting and you could chang that to determine what boots. This windows XP doesn`t have that...This damn thing boots up what it wants to boot up and I tried everything to change that but damned if I can find it. Like I said, although I have to boot it 15 times, once in a while it will work, unlike Kerry.

LOL In all seriousness... IF you are having that much trouble something else is wrong, NOT the operating system LOL

Maybe you should go to Start/Run then type msconfig and see if maybe that helps ;^) then press the startup tab... But, IF you are having that much trouble, like i said something ELSE is wrong.

the other option, open regedit, go to HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and see what runs there. You can eliminate a LOT of programs from your bootcycle.
