Kerry is such a do-nothing cad who just wants power and money. Trent Lott told Dick Morris he used to come over to him if the sessions threatened to run long in the Senate and ask him if he could see that the session would end on time. Trent would then tell him it was because of something the Dems were doing and invariably Kerry would rectify the situation by encouraging the Dems to fix whatever wasn't working.
Reliable?? Forget it! Forrrrrrrget it!! You know how many times I have to boot my computer before it works? Anywhere from 5 to 15 times..I tried evrything everything and everytime I boot it it either locks up or everything doesn`t load, so then I have to boot it again and again and again and again. I know in the old Windows they use to have the autoexec and config.sys files that would do the booting and you could chang that to determine what boots. This windows XP doesn`t have that...This damn thing boots up what it wants to boot up and I tried everything to change that but damned if I can find it. Like I said, although I have to boot it 15 times, once in a while it will work, unlike Kerry.
Good point.
So what. If he can't handle the campaign AND his paying job, then he either needs to quit or be fired. Simple as pie. 91.5% missed votes and untold missed duties behind the scenes. Unacceptable by ANY standard - even a liberals.
BTTT
I bet they still draw a paycheck
Did you read the whole post? Or just that sentence?
Great find!
ITS NOT WINXP GIVING YOU PROBLEMS THE PROBLEM IS SITTING INFRONT OF THE KEYBOARD! LOL In all seriousness... IF you are having that much trouble something else is wrong, NOT the operating system LOL
Maybe you should go to Start/Run then type msconfig and see if maybe that helps ;^) then press the startup tab... But, IF you are having that much trouble, like i said something ELSE is wrong.
Naw, I read the whole post, and didn't mean to demean your thoughts. It's just that Bob Dole has no bearing on what is happening now. Bob Dole did the proper and honorable thing. It would be nice to hear those voices (in the press), but you aren't going to unless this is made a front and center issue.
My main point/gripe is that this info needs to get to the ding a'ling mushy middle, and reasonable Dems (there are still some out there). It may be wishful thinking, but I have a gut feeling that this sort of behavior would be severely frowned upon by most Americans.
Oh you have GOT to be freggin` kidding me!!!! I just tried that MSconfig!! I had NO idea that existed!! Holy smoke!! Thanks SO much!! I can`t believe this!! LOL!!! I just saw where you can check stuff off from the services tab..I caaaaaaaaaan`t believe this, of all places I get the answer from Freep. I swear, this has been going on with me for the past 6 months and I asked just about everybody, one guy insisting I go to the start-programs-startup and remove whats ever in there, but NOTHING was in there!! THen looking everywhere on the web I couldn`t find nothing. I was ready to throw this thing out the window and all it took was once simple freggin` command! LOL! I even went to the actual microsoft website and still couldn`t find anything! Try it, there is nothing on that website that tells you about this, and they are they people that make the freggin` thing!!! Again T H A N K S!!!
Now I just gotta figure out which stuff to shut off. I swear they must have 100`s of freggin` programs booting up on this thing. Bundle, what the hell is the bundle program? This is nuts... telephony, recguard, colorreal, nwiz, ps2, autobar, KBD, ypager..What the hell, I don`t use any of this stuff. No wonder the freggin` thing goes nuts when I boot...It`s loading every program known to mankind. ARRRGH!!!!!!!!
you don't need all the junk in that startup, I think if you have had that much problems a reinstall would be helpful the you could have a fresh start...
the other option, open regedit, go to HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and see what runs there. You can eliminate a LOT of programs from your bootcycle.
THanks, Yeah I think I may have to do a re-install.. This thing is so packed full of junk it``s unreal. I just tried shutting off some stuff and it locked up again when I rebooted. THen when the boot did finally work, the stuff I shut off was checked again!! They won`t let me shut off stuff! AAAH!!! Like Charleton Heston would say; "It`s a madhouse! A maaaaadhouse!! I`ll try shutting off some other stuff.
ok, another command is regedit... but i would not use it if you dont know what your doing.... a format and clean install should do the trick IF you don't have some sort of a hardware problem.. like a bad power supply or something...
I see that!! I tried this once before but didn`t understand it...yeah, I got a TON of stuff on there...How do you shut them off, just delete the files?? The thing is I don`t know what any of this stuff does... I`ll just name a few...atwtusb, autotbar, cammonitor (I guess I can get rid of that.I don`t have a camera) KBD, SAHbundle, recguard, igfxtray, nwiz, iamapp, nvcpldaemon, ..this is nuts. ..that`s just a few. Are these all programs?? What if they are necessary for the computer to boot?
