GEORGE Galloway stood to profit in a bent oil-for-food deal meant to help Iraqi CHILDREN, a bombshell report said yesterday. The sacked Labour MP’s name was among hundreds of firms and individuals who received vouchers for services to Saddam Hussein’s evil regime.

Galloway — who stood to gain £5million — is named at least five times as a potential profiteer by the US Senate report.

The money was to be siphoned off in a deal designed to help kids who were sick and starving. Revelations are made in a report by chief US weapons inspector in Iraq, Charles Duelfer.

His Iraq Survey Group document says: “Under the UN Oil for Food Programme, Iraq used a clandestine oil allocation voucher programme that involved granting oil certificates to certain individuals and organisations to compensate them for their services in undermining the resolve of the international community.

“Recipients, especially not those in the petroleum business, could sell or trade the allocations at a discount to international oil buyers or companies at a 10-35cent per barrel profit.”

On page 179 of the report, Galloway is named and said to have received vouchers for 3.46million barrels of Iraqi oil worth 65 cents a barrel.

On page 182 he is said to have received vouchers for 1.014million barrels worth 85 cents each.

I find it a bit odd that everyone named, that I've seen so far, are no longer in office.

Much like the Hillary 2000 cash for pardons scam, this will go nowhere. Not that it should not, but there are different laws for different folk. This information was public six months ago and nothing was done then. With each passing day the wheels of justice lose momentum. It's how the system works for the wealthy and powerful.

Fox News already broke the MIGA-Saddam connection (link). BUT it would be MAJOR if any on the persons or companies named in the CIA report matched any persons or companies officially named as terrorists/terrorist financiers, since this would be virtually stating that Saddam paid terrorists/terrorist financiers (not including the Palestinian bombers).
