"It was not an act of hate," said Dustin "Dusty" Dzuck, 17, a senior at Denfeld High School. "My mom called me a terrorist. It wasn't terrorism; it was activism. It was for a cause.... The whole thing is, basically, I just wanted to get the word out there that in my opinion Bush isn't doing this country any good."What a perfect little leftist terrorist. Here's a hint, Dusty: All terrorists claim to be activists.
I hope his sentence includes some college-level reading, like "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich," "The Gulag Archipelago," and "The Black Book of Communism."

If this retoric by the left doesn't stop, this is going to be the least of our problems. I have had serious concerns for Cheney, even more than Bush. The left hates Cheney with a passion, I don't think their hatred of Bush approaches. For the life of me, I can't fathom the hatred for Cheney. The guy is a superbly qualified leader.

Am I missing something? The 'Call to Arms' winds up being put up yard signs or 'click on the ad at the top of the page'? I'd like to think this was tongue-in-cheek, but there were the incidents in Orlando, Milwaukee, West Virginia (others?) where Repub offices were shot up, broken into, and workers assaulted (broken arm, etc).
Can you imagine the left's uproar if those Repub offices were abortion clinics? We'd never hear the end of it.

Yes, I think it is quite chilling too. It's how the Nazis started -- whipping up HATRED. "Win at any cost," 'any' being the operative word. And then, of course, justify it in your own mind.

He doesn't even address the acts of violence at several Bush campaign offices. Breakins, mobs of union thugs taking over and trashing the places.
Books dealing with assassinting Bush. Constant drumbeat that Bush is a lier, and is another Hitler.
As we get closer to the election and the left gets more in touch with the reality of losing they are not going to make nice.
I think it is going to det worse.

I suppose that DoJ has to weight in with civil rights violations and voter intimidation prosecutions. Otherwise it could easily deteriorate into a shooting war.

I call upon the Governors of all 50 states to station National Guard troops to guard all political party headquarters in each state's major metropolitan areas. The Mayor of the District of Columbia should coordinate with the applicable protective agencies as well. For ones in smaller areas, I call upon them to station highway patrol / state police / state troopers. All parties on the ballot should receive the appropriate protection based on the size of the metro area they are in and the size of the facility.
Orders to shoot-to-kill upon any mob attack should be issued.
Failure to take such actions should be considered gross incompetence.

Order needs to be restored, then maintained clear through the elections. If need be, protection given to the headquarters of the political parties should be extended to polling places on election day.

Gentlemen,
I've been lurking on this board for a while but felt I needed to comment on this issue. I've also noticed he uptick in violence against Republicans through these fora. We need to remember that the press will continue to ignore this story, reporting instead on baseless accusations of minority voter disenfranchisement by Republicans UNTIL the first Republican on Democrat violence occurs. Only then will it become a headline, and it'll be reported as a bipartisan brawl rather than the Dem thuggery that it is. Republicans need to keep the high road on this.
I agree with the initial post, the proper response can only be to put new signs up and mow the lawn. Republicans musn't be drawn into this violence - not only because it's despicable; but also because we WILL lose in the press.

I suppose that DOJ has to weight in with civil rights violations and voter intimidation prosecutions. Otherwise it could easily deteriorate into a shooting war. That's exactly what I've been thinking. I believe there could be violence if President Bush wins again. Perhaps from our side too. It's a very important election because of the Supreme Court appointments. We all know if Kerry appoints judges, they're going to be anti gun and will ultimately rule that the Second Amendment doesn't give individuals the right to own guns.

Knoxville, TN, shot. Seattle, WA, break-in, computers selectively stolen. And I am still trying to find out info on Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska Bush/Cheney HQs.
I can't find info anywhere, and the hearsay info I have is that the Anchorage HQ has been vandalized and a shot fired into the Fairbanks HQ.
