Your response to the comment as relevant as some of the answers given last Thursday during the tanking.

I dont consider that "food for thought", but happy talk and the refusal to think. Only an idiot would cede the opportunity to knock Kerry out of the race in the first debate.

For his part, Cheney seemed bored by domestic concerns and didn't engage Edwards strenuously.

Major mistake. It may be why some people think Edwards won.

No, but he has to act like he is fighting for his life against a person who gets manicures.

I haven't seen anything on it either. I assume it's a complete fabrication.

The more I read Fred Barnes, the more I like his fairminded approach to evaluating the debates and policy. He might be a right winger, but he calls a dumb idea a dumb idea and is honest about it.

Jack Germond used to have the same attitude on McLaughlin. Haven't seen him in a long time.

I like Jack Germond, even when I disagree with him. He is one of the few classy liberals out there. He is gracious and is delightfully tough-minded. I see him on Inside Washington frequently, which runs on PBS stations and CBS affiliate stations, depending on where you live. Charles Krauthammer is a regular participant as well.

I, too, want to know who prepped Bush for the last debate.

Is there a mole so high up in the campaign as to be able to throw a debate?

I sure hope not.

If it was Karen Hughes doing the prep, she is slipping. Did she also write that horrid speech that made the Bush twins look and sound moronic at the Convention?
