On KFI 640AM it was said Dick Cheney mis-spoke when he pointed folks interested in the FACTS about Halliburton to "factcheck.com" when the actual site is "factcheck.org". The "factcheck.com" site points to a George Soros anti-Bush site.
bttt
The domain name was fowarded to the GeorgeSoros.com site within the last two hours. Just a couple hours ago there was a generic search engine site under that domain name.
That is REALLY interesting!
Someone tried explaining that to me early .. but I'm not smart enough to understand all the tech stuff
But I had no doubt Freepers would figure out what was going on with that .com site
I saw that as well. As soon as he said dot COM I thought uh-oh and went to make sure he didn't send america to some porn site by accident. I guess now it HAS been converted to a porn site of sorts.
I am a freelance web designer. Basically the owner/company of the domain name factcheck.com decided to foward the domain name to georgesoros.com. It looks like it might have been done shortly after the gaffe and the name transfered at midnight PST. Either that or the domain name was hacked. It looks like the domain is owned by DOMAIN NAME SALES CORP. in Seattle Washington. These type of companies buy domain names that are not in use in bulk and it looks like one of the workers there or even the company manager/owner fowarded the domain to georgesoros.com earlier today.
Wow! It is really stupid for Soros or his aparatchiks to
raise his name profile with a trick like that. Soros is
better off if his nefarious schemes are handled through
his puppets like Moveon and so forth.
I went to the dot org site this morning. Musta been lots of traffic, took me awhile to get in. I have my doubts about the sources cited, eg: Wash Post, NYT, etc. What makes those and other biased papers unimpeachable sources for anything?
