After-debate discussion here!
Not only did Cheney kick Pretty Boy's arse, but Cheney came across as a reasonable, intelligent, normal human being (which he is), not the carictature of evil personified that the Democrats have been pushing.
The Dems really need to come up with some other plays besides the old Republicans-are-either-dumb-or-evil one. Its really very tired.
Tom Brokaw is out of touch on PMSNBC. i think he's about to cry over his boy losing so bad.
The ball was not only not advanced for John Kerry, this series of downs may have resulted in lost yardage!
This debate was critical to advancing the ball. Americans were wondering about Edwards. Cheney took him to school.
Lurch is not a happy man right now.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
All of the polls I have taken are showing that.
" And I cannot believe Mort and others on the panel claim to have been BORED by this debate. This debate was action-packed fun!"
I know!!!! I was thinking, "what debate were they watching." What's up with that woman on Fox talking about showing up for Senate lunches when Cheney said that about the first time I've met you? She is in left field, literally.
All the responses I am seeing so far are praising Cheney. I agree. Cheney scored BIG TIME.
It seemed really shallow how Edwards kept bringing up "what you saw on Thursday night..." The dems can't get over the pony dance that Kerry did, and it's all they have to talk about. How about some substance, boys? Ha Ha Ha!
Edwards talked about having a plan for everything and just promising to give more money. Bush gave $15 billion to fight AIDS, Kerry?Edwards will double that amount. And so it went. The education and medical problems didn't just arise during the Bush adminstration. Edwards and Kerry were in the Senate. What legislation did they propose to solve these problems? What leadership did they demonstrate in getting both sides of the aisle to address these problems. They are followers not leaders. Show ponies, not work horses.
"I was aghast and shocked!"
I think McAuliffe mispoke, I heard him say, "I was full of gas; and shocked and awed"
I am sick of this forum not being online during live events!

Ron, I love ya, but this is exactly the kind of thing that deserves a link when 2/3 of Freepers can't get on the forum.
I have cable access, it's humming along and I couldn't get into FR after 9 pm CST.
It's becoming clearer and clearer we're having a little post-Buckhead hangover here. Not all the newly registered are here in good faith, I'd say.
82% think Edwards won.
We are living in the most stupid, brainless country.
Way To Go Shrek!!
Take It Home Bushie!!!
It took me FOREVER to log back on,
and FR is moving slower right now
than I've seen since election eve
2000.
I did not listen to any of the pundits.
Cheney smacked him but good.
Edwards is left looking like the empty suit he truly is.
Gee, I missed that. It must of been while I went to flush the John!
Matalin on w/ Hannity. Her new look is very harsh. But she's a peach.
Well, I said in my earlier post "if you're up for it" but I didn't finish my thought. I'm sure C-SPAN and I'll also bet FOXNews will replay overnight. You can look it up and go from there.
And as I said, it is worth it. Silky pony gets a slap to the muzzle more than once.
Wonder if the girlie man is now peeing in his girlie man's pants!!!???
