How convenient.
Bush wins by a hair, then it comes out that the Kerry Kamp was all over the doc thing.

But CBS will air the phony docs as true to influence the election!
To: NewMediaFan
Figures!
They know that this has the potential to impact Kerry's campaign so they hold it close to the chest till after the election. Wonder what there recorse is if it is found that Kerry was involved and he got elected. This has implications that need to be cleared up prior to the election. Unfortunatly I don't think that the FCC will have the Cajones to investigate this like the should be doing already.

..will probably not be concluded until after the November election so as not to interfere with the presidential race LOL..the bridge sales force is at it again.
Of course there WILL be leaks before the election about how the results are proving that the story was true, there actually are legitimate documents, yada yada yada...and along with everything else, Bush was a cross dresser.
Bull shiite artistry at it's maximum.

"Obviously, it should be done probably after the election is over so that it doesn't affect what's going on," he told a Goldman Sachs media conference in New York. I think he thinks the investigation is going bad for CBS.
To: NewMediaFan
Great. The original lie was obviously intended to influence the election, but they don't want the correction to influence the election. No bias here.
To: NewMediaFan
They never had a problem with affecting an election before. Why now? Unless he knows the result will hurt his candidate for the election.
I bet someone starts leaking this information to Drudge.

Obviously, it should be done probably after the election is over so that it doesn't affect what's going on,...Too late. But here's a clue, it isn't helping Kerry.
To: NewMediaFan
But he said he did not want it to interfere with the Nov. 2 election. "Obviously, it should be done probably after the election is over so that it doesn't affect what's going on," Very responsible of CBS I must say. (/sarcasm)
My translation of this statement is, If the truth comes out it will hurt the Democrat's!

Using faked documents before the election to influence the election is OK. Investigating the sloppy and bias reporting before the election is evil. Makes perfect sense.
To: NewMediaFan
...probably not be concluded until after the November election so as not to interfere with the presidential race, a top executive said on Tuesday. Oh, but it's OK to broadcast a bogus story with phony documents that could "interfere with the presidential race". But their not biased, why would we think such a thing?

"Obviously, it should be done probably after the election is over so that it doesn't affect what's going on," Why not? If Kerry wins and then we find out that he was all over this, people will start calling for impeachment. Why put everyone through that if you know who's involved beforehand?

"Obviously, it should be done probably after the election is over so that it doesn't affect what's going on," Too bad the news folks didn't have the same standard.

Well, considering they were working on this story for 5 years to get lies, I can only imagine how long it will take them to figure out the truth.
