At which point Cheney should ask Edwards to apologize for Kerry flipping the bird at veterans--and I think he did that several times.
Cheney will just take his eyeglasses off, rub them a little bit, smile that sideways smile and proceed to dissect Edwards.
Didn't the dims plant somebody in the front row at the VP debate in 2000 to try and shake up Cheney?
It's too bad Karl Rove couldn't have had some of the doctors who lost or nearly lost their practices to gain Edwards millions in the second row with Leahy.
Cheap tatics, we should have brought Zell Miller!
ABC couldnt resist getting in a Halliburton shot pre debate..
ABC better hope its readers/viewers haven't been to that factcheck.org link.
The Dems are awfully petty and childish if they think this is going to affect VP Cheney one bit.
And if Edwards intends to ask for an apology for Leahy, Cheney need only demand first an apology and retraction for calling the President a liar.
And some ABC headline notwithstanding, I don't believe for a minute that BC04/RNC types are 'angered' by this at all.
Doh! You had it right.
No problem. Cheney will say something humous and move on.
As only Cheney can do. You bet that would be funny.
Please.
He's a lowly Senator.
I'm sure Cheney hates much more important people than this guy.
Of course it would be kinda funny if Cheney points out Leahy and tells Edwards "I see you brought your support team".
Which he might very well do.
I was just listening to 540am in Orlando and they said there was some violence at the Orlando Republican Headquarters today. A bunch of union thugs stormed the door and a staff member (Republican) had a broken wrist. Charges are being filed with Orlando police.

If there is one person in the entire Administration who can, pardon the coarseness, kick some ass at a policy debate and hold his own, it's Dick Cheney.
Cheney might very well say something like
"I see you've got Senator Leahy here with you tonight, John. That's good, it helps to have someone on your team with actual experience in government."
