An unknown suspect fired several shots into the Bearden office of the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign Tuesday morning.
The headquarters are located at 4618 Kingston Pike, next to Noveau Classics and in the same shopping plaza as Long's Drugstore.
According to Knoxville Police Department (KPD) officers on the scene Tuesday, it is believed that the two separate shots were fired from a car sometime between 6:30 am and 7:15 am.
One shot shattered the glass in the front door and the other cracked the glass in another of the front doors.
There were no witnesses to the shooting. A customer at a nearby dry cleaning store noticed shattered glass on the sidewalk in front of the headquarters and called police.
Volunteers and staffers at the campaign office say they have no clues as to who might have committed the crime. However, they add that the shooting makes them even more enthusiastic and energized about working for their candidates.
"If I have to sleep here (at the campaign office) now, that's what I'll do," says volunteer Suzanne Dewar.
In an unexpected twist, a bank directly across the street from the headquarters was robbed just as KPD officers were busy investigating at the scene of the shooting.
Good point. So now they want to be believers!?
They went this nuts a long time ago.

It sure makes em easy to spot! And don't forget the giant paper mache effigies...the loony left loves to make those. I've never figured out why but if you go to a WTO-type protest ANYWHERE in the world there are guaranteed to be giant paper mache heads of Bush, Blair, Koizumi, and Berlusconi. It's almost like they have a list of protest materials out there that no protester can be without, including among other items a paper mache effigy. Or maybe its just the same guy who keeps showing up over and over again.
Shawn Hannity interviewed some of those protesters and half of them didn't know why they were protesting. Its called rent-a-mob.
beckysueb sez: The problem is if there is an uprising, the MSM will cover it nonstop with the uderlying message that this is all Bush and his supporters fault.
OO sez: If it is THAT kind of uprising, my guess is the MSM will not be reporting anything. Period.
That does not surprise me.
What will surprise me if anything is done about it.
ROTFL!
Liberals - America's domestic enemies
They love to report bad stuff on Republicans. The poor witto Democrats are just protecting themselves. They spin the problems in Iraq everyday. You should see the pictures of wounded kids the dummies show and rant and rave about just look what Bush has done.
They are becoming like communist revolutionaries.

No, they are the communist revolutionaries.
They have been for at least 44 years. Not they know that they can be in the open with it.
Somebody came into our GOP office in Gainesville, punched a cardboard cutout of GWB, and then punched the GOP chairman on the sidewalk outside of headquarters. Turned out he was a professor of behavioral sciences (physician, heal thyself!) at the local JC. They suspended him - with pay. I'm sure he's really feeling punished.
That explains why the Democrats had been in power for 40 years. How about that. I guess they are pissed. LOL
They are truly the party of hate. Vile, deliberate hate.
"Just wait ... first shots, then pipe bombs ... and finally open warfare."
God forbid! But if this were to happen, would the leaders of the dims and the MSM be any better than the islamic clerics and Al Jazeera in Iraq in calling for calm and peace? And if they wouldn't, would the sheeple be any different than muslims (in general) in condoning the violence by their silence? I don't think so; they'll be thinking we deserve it.
If anyone is listening to Rush, he said go to The Drudge Report. There is a picture from NBC nightly news of Bush and the words "ilie" is right beside him. Its from a sign or something.
I don't disagree with you. They are every bit as horrible as you say. While some progress has been made in exposing them (e.g. CBS), the MSM still basically feels they can act treasonous without impunity
My point it, if there is true civil unrest in America down the road (which I truly hope does not come to pass, but events such as todays have me starting to believe is inevitable), the MSM will not be spared.
They likely will find out the hard way that their First Amendment rights are useless without the Second Amendment protecting them.
I hope you are right. But the media has been enablers for the left for so long, I don't think they know how to change.

I know. I read about it.
The people that these asses attack are going to have to start fighting back. Each time one of us are assaulted by one of them without fighting back it makes them all that much bolder. They already know that the law will not stop them. The only thing they understand is force.
Our people have two choices:
1. Become a punching bag or the communist bullies.
2. Fight back.
We have two hands and two feet. I have one hand and two feet and I can head butt and bite with the best of them.
