Some would date large scale terrorism by Al Quaida all the way back to the Arrow Air disaster in Gander, specifically targeted at U.S. military.
EgyptAir 990 was carrying a number of recently and expensively trained Egyptian helicopter pilots.

This just hammers home the reason why we should NOT let our guard down when it comes to the WOT.
These people we are fighting against spend 24/7/365 trying to come up with new and shocking ways to KILL US!
This is just proof of that.
Stay alert...stay alive people!

Presuming no MREs were actually tainted (no indication of that yet), any suggestions on getting Wornick MREs? Not the altered civvie versions, the real thing. Better still, the
MCW/LRP meals, perhaps?

I always thought that the al quaeda intended to hit Americans some how in our Food supply, not just our Military, but in our Grocery Store Chains, and Food Processing plants.

Refresh my memory.
Is this that French company that go a contract right after the war (when the rest of the country was demanding we cancel the contract) or is this another meal company?

"A high-ranking al-Qaida operative provided information leading authorities to nearly a dozen illegal immigrants working for the McAllen, Texas-based Wornick Co."
But...but... they told us this is OK, 'cause they're "doing jobs Americans don't want to do." (satire off)

No, there's no harm in hiring illegals.......It's high time we start fining any company for hiring illegals. Those fines have gone down over 90% in the last 10 years.
