Continuing to vote for the Republicans solely for the sake of achieving short-term victories is a lost cause. Republicans might win in 2004 or even 2008, but when Texas inevitably becomes solid Democrat, the party of Clinton will have an unbreakable stranglehold on the Electoral College. Any minor gains conservatism makes in a second Bush term will be completely negated by the permanent demographic changes underway. I’m guessing that these Republicans feel that the only hope for this country is to deliver a swift kick in the rear to a complacent party. Perhaps if they get the message, a true conservative can be elected in 2008 before its too late (Instead of a Bush successor who will likely be equally weak).

Assuming what you say is true....do you want a bullet in the next few years or are you willing to wait 8 -10 years for one. Me, I'll dodge the immediate bullet, vote for Bush, and address the pressing issues of security and cultural warfare. Better to keep my powder dry for the next round of congressional elections.

After this election, there will be a host of issues to come into prominence, immigration is first on the list.

Make no mistake, a Kerry win is a win for a global far left / fascistic group controlled by folks like Soros who have serious plans for this country, none of them good.

As long as you're free and alive, you can plan and react, and effect an outcome in your favor. With Kerry in office, none of us may be around in 2008.

Think real hard in that voting booth.

With all due respect, if John Kerry followed by Hillary Clinton is elected, none of you will have a country left to complain about anymore. Perhaps some do not really grasp what we are up against here with these ultra leftists. Borders won't matter much if these anti American socialists are in charge. Good grief!

I don't understand why so many Republicans not only support but promote the immigration of illegal Democrats.
