Someone's got to do something so that Kerry doesn't slime his way into office!!!
It doesn't matter if it's a pen, a condom or a picture of Terezzzzzzzza wearing a condom.
There was a gentlemen's agreement that nothing would be brought to the lecturn.
This is certainly no gentleman.
But that's no real surprise is it?
Out of his POCKET???
I thought them Dems kept the paperwork in their PANTS!!
You know I respect your research skills as a freeper, but I have yet to talk with one person in our community who thought the president did well at the debate. And since I work for the local Republican office once a week on a volunteer basis and we are sponsors for our town for a Bush/Cheney event this week, I come into contact with an awful lot of Bush supporters.
I don't know who the constant harpers are because until today I don't think I've posted one comment about the debate and his performance, but unless we all missed something, it was a huge mistake to let Kerry say again that there is no connection between Iraq/AQ. That is a lie. Kerry's own Senate Intelligence people know and have reported that Iraq was providing AQ training in WMD.
We're at war and a good portion of the country doesn't support the war. If they better understood the connections between our enemy, AQ, and Iraq, support for our efforts in Iraq would increase and so would the president's support in the election. Even more troubling is that post debate, Bush has yet to correct Kerry's assertion that there is no connection! I find that shocking and I will tell you that the RNC chair our town called today and finds it shocking as well. So does our Congressman who was at tonight's party. I think Rove is underestimating the importance of people understanding just who Saddam was involved with in Iraq.
Regardless, I'm glad that some people were pleased with the president's performance and I have understood that you are one of those people and you know I respect your opinion.
INTREP
My theory for what its worth - he had the questions ahead of time, or actually gave them to Lehrer. Either way, he had his 1:50 timed responses for each question, as well as some rebuttal material, practiced and written on his cheat-sheet(s).
I thought them Dems kept the paperwork in their PANTS!!
Wardrobe malfunction.
Much ado about nothing.
The same way klintoon was assisted during all his debates. The liberal media wants to give their (boy)all the possible help. Kerry was briefed far ahead of time on the questions. He was also given the appropriate answers by a team Q&A liberal debate experts. Kerry and his kommie klowns are out cheat their way into the White House if permitted. I too, hope an investigation will be conducted on Lehrer and crowd. The Republicans had best realize that being a nice guy against an unethical opponent will get your rear-end kicked. A kerry win in November will probably initiate the next civil war in America. Bush/Cheney 2004
Well said Cricket. The P.C. communist control tool is very effective against those have no moral fortitude. I would rather be tried by twelve than carried by six. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing. Bush/Cheney 2004
Peach you are right in your conclusion that President Bush should challenge kerry on those lies. AQ and Iraq are connected and President Bush needs to call kerry on the carpet for his lies.(Gentleman agreement act) Kerry and the DNC kommies know people with class and noble purpose will follow the rules. Kerry and klowns will never follow anything with moral fiber or rules. I did not watch the debate because I disdain any glimpse of kerry or his "Lurch" gloom and doom voice. Sometimes I wonder how a shell of a man who is a traitor to our country be allowed to run for the President of USA. I feel some necessary admendments to our constitution are in order to prevent these traitors and communists from holding any public office. Keep up the good work Peach, your candor is much appreciated by me. Bush/Cheney 2004
Ok, can you loan me $280? Just kidding...
Watch the first question as well. While Lehrer is asking Kerry that question his hands are still very clearly arranging something on his podium. At one point while Lehrer is still asking Kerry glances down at whatever it is he's arranging. While it was commonplace for both of them to write things on paper while the other was talking Kerry would have had no time and no need at that point to write anything down. So what was he arranging and looking at?
Thanks for the ping and the link. Intereting!!
One person who may be a witness and knows what actually went on is the President but I don't think he will be telling at least not for a while.
In today's entry of INDC Journal, the poster who wrote about the notes now says he has found out that it was actually a pen that Kerry pulled out of his pocket. Then the poster apologizes.
Thank you so much, No Surrender.
It is nearly impossible to watch Kerry; his voice is enough to make me want to scream at him and he's such a traitor to the country and his fellow Vietnam veterans that I find him detestable.
As a sleight of hand artist, I could have helped Kerry pull this off without anyone being able to see it. Geez. At a minimum he could have used a "hold-out" to deliver them to his hands out of camera view.
Ho hum! I really don't care about this one, IMO they should be allowed to carry notes to the debate. I think paper and pen are supplied and put on the podium. Is it possible Kerry walked up before the camera started rolling and jotted something down and absent mindedly put it in his jacket only to pull it out later?
We are only making ourself's look like the whining brats that the Democrats are.
