Just send him a reasonable bill for all the costs his stupidity foisted on the community.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that we went to Iraq in order so that their kids could fry their brains too.

I have to wonder just what liberty means to you. Liberty means doing those things you approve of? Liberty means doing those things the majority approves of?

Why don't you just let people alone? That's what you want them to do to you as you go about your day. Yours always the most productive cube in Officetown? Or do you sometimes screw off? What about when you get home? Ever just kick back with a brewski and watch "Scariest Police Videos?" Hmmm, slacker? Well even if you haven't, I have. Feel an urge to arrest me?

Give it a break? Let people relax how they want.

Symptoms include mydriasis; cycloplegia; flushed, warm, dry skin; dry mouth; ileus; urinary retention; tachycardia; hyper or hypotension; delirium with hallucinations; jerky, myoclonic movements; choreoathetosis; hyperthermia; coma; respiratory arrest; rare seizures; and central stimulation followed by depression.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Why not wash it down with some turpentine.

YEP> Speaks for itself. Using them wisely, correctly [or not at all] takes brains, NOT government ;))

But, but THIS is what our compassionate LIBERALtarians want LEGALIZED so it'll be cheaper for who ever wants it.

"Symptoms can include blurred vision, confusion, agitation and combative behavior. Ingestion can also lead to seizures, coma and death. Effects can occur within 30 to 60 minutes and continue for 24 to 48 hours."

"Persampieri said the Brockton teen was given the jimsonweed seeds Wednesday night when the two males went to get a soda after their class let out. Persampieri said the Brockton teen saw some jimsonweed seeds fall out of his classmate's pocket when he took out change to get the soda. He then asked the Randolph teen if he could have some, Persampieri said."

Hmmmm ... maybe THIS is what LIBERALtarians do in their spare time. In any event their brain is fried.

Jimsonweed is legal. Didn't you read the article? It grows throughout the United States and anyone stupid enough to consume can get it free. Your best buddies the Libertarians didn't have and anything to do with it.

When I was growing up in very rural Northeast La, we didn't use doctors much because there was a cure or treatment for everything right there on our farm.

Didn't know anything about getting high back then, but if you had a thorn or splinter or any type of sore that had infection in it, all you had to do was get a couple of leaves off a jimsonweed plant and crush them so the juice would come out. Then hold the leaves over the infected spot for a couple of hours and the juice of the jimsonweed would pull the thorn or whatever out and also it would draw out the infection.

The stuff still grows wild everywhere around here.

This is as old as the hills. The cowboys used to call it Loco Weed. Was also known as Jamestown weed, It was known in colonial times. Another one that will do the same thing is Morning Glory seeds.

Symptoms are classically anticholinergic
Mad as a Hatter
Dry as a Bone
Red as a Beet
Blind as a Bat
Hot as a Hare.

The federal government should pass laws against jimsonweed and pressure the states to do the same by denying any that don't play along federal funds. Then we could hire thousands of federal and state workers to go out and eradicate all of the jimsonweed. They could use helicopters and other high tech equipment to look for it. If they find jimsonweed growing on people's property, they could seize the property and sell it on the courthouse steps and use the proceeds to hire more jimsonweed police and pay for more fancy jimsonweed eradication technology. We could have steep mandatory minimum sentences for people involved with the jimsonweed trade, and could punish anyone caught with jimsonweed, fine them, maybe put them in, force them into drug treatment, take away their drivers licenses. That would stop all those kids from taking jimsonweed, wouldn't? It would be the most conservative approach for handling the jimsonweed problem. Wouldn't you agree?
