Staffers at the Kerry campaign may want to put the cork back in their champagne bottles after they examine the internal numbers in the latest Gallup poll.
Sure, most felt that the Massachusetts Democrat was the better debater by a whopping margin of 53 to 37 percent.
Kerry did even better when Gallup asked which candidate expressed himself clearly, beating Bush 60 to 32 percent.
But when asked which of the two was more believable, it was Bush over Kerry - 50 to 45 percent.
On which candidate did better on the issues, again it was Bush over Kerry, 49 to 46 percent.
Those surveyed by Gallup also apparently didn't buy the media's line that the president came off as irritated and petulant. Asked who was more likable, it was Bush over Kerry again, 48 to 41 percent.
But the worst news for team Kerry came when Gallup asked which candidate was tough enough to be president, a question that taps into concerns that Kerry may be weak on terror.
Gallup respondents gave the "tough enough" award to Bush - and by a landslide, 54 to 37 percent.
The leftist media must be going insane, they've been successful with their lies for over 50 years and now they get nothing.
was feeling crappy this weekend till you gave us some good news
Kerry Better Debater; Bush Better President
Hey wait a minute. Carl Cameron says the Kerry folks are excited about the "dramatic increase" in Kerry's likability numbers.
The choice cannot be more clear, the people demand that the government protect their freedom at any cost. As John F. Kennedy succinctly stated "We must bear any burden and pay any cost". Regardless of Kerry's empty words and placing monetary values to Freedom, his empty rhetoric is proof that he will not protect America, the sad reality is that his actions would be limited based on the demand for world opinion. "Passing the Global test" means more to him and sadly means more to most liberals then taking action to defend Freedom.
There is another poster who was posting news of far more significance just before FR went down. Specifically, some group is offering a reward to anyone who fingers a fraudulent voter. The more money in that reward the better. This, plus digicam equipped poll watchers, could undo this supposed registration advantage.
We've suspected all along that Kerry was a Master Debater.......
I was almost sick the day after the debate and not because I felt the President did poorly, but because I felt Kerry was getting softball questions and said made some idiotic statements and the only thing the media talked about (including Fox News) was how "Presidential" Kerry came off.
This post, along with a few others of similar tone, have been most welcome by me this weekend. Bottom line, Kerry didn't get knocked out during the first debate, but he is still against the ropes. I pray that W can collect himself and finish him off in the next few weeks like I know he is capable of.
Do you have a link or title to that post?
I missed most of it, but Eleanor Clifthanger was on Fox gleefully reporting about a newsweek poll showing Kerry up.....anybody see it?
At this rate, we will have 60+ GOP senators by 2012.
...digicam equipped poll watchers, could undo this supposed registration advantage."
Seriously, these dem-ons will do anything to win in Nov. They are acutely aware of the risks and would gladly take them to get their traitor in office. They know that there wouldn't be a reversal of the election, so the risks are worth the rewards i.e. the end justifies the means mentality.
Gallup..........giddy-up G.W. The truth prevails.
If they are informed of a huge reward for turning them in, they will stay home. Not the zealots, but the apathetic who were recently registered.
Excellent news. I watched the first debate from start to finish and certainly agree with the results of the Gallop poll!
"We've suspected all along that Kerry was a Masterdebater......."
Thank you :-)
