Hey AM.....look what crawled in the back door.

What did it say before you put it away? I actually hate deleted posts.

If I were on the Mod Squad I'd do things differently.

LOL.

That's OK . . . I would have had no idea where the debate had taken place, except I remembered Bush's opening statement in which he expressed concern for "those here in Florida who've been coping with the hurricanes" or something like that.

Prediction: Cheney will mop the floor with Edwards!

Cheney is a tough ol' bulldog compared to that whiplasher puppy called Edwards.

I'm gonna enjoy Cheney mop the floor with Edwards. If we know Cheney HE IS TOUGH and that automatic snarl he wears will be for good effect since this will not be a Personality test/debate.

"You hit the nail on the head. Kerry spoke to his base while Bush spoke to the swing voters; and the swing voters were turned off by Kerry's attacks and mean-spiritedness. And Kerry gave the Republicans ammo with his ill-advised comments on Global Testing, nuclear-tipped bunker busters and North Korea. Bush gave up a tactical loss in order to gain a strategic advantage. Kerry is bleeding out and doesnt even realize it."

I think what you say is true in part, however, both seemed to also speak to a world audience. President Bush showed the world his restraint with facial incredulity listening to JFKerry speak to his fellow travelers around the world.

"feels they're now on "offense" instead of defense and they're all happy in Democratland. Ugh. That was inevitable & pre-ordained before the debate even started."

You're right. I'd read that the Dems had plans to flood the media with enthusiastic fake "reactions" immediately following the debate no matter how things went to sway the limited thinking of the masses.

They count on their supporters being dumb sheep they can lead wherever they want. Lemmings is a better description, since they're eagerly accepting their role as bond servants.
