How do I post a picture on Free Republic as some do in the reply sections? It's a JPEG file.

The image has to be on the internet, not just your pc.
Also, you forgot the close >
and finally, don't use BMP files - they are too big. Open the file in MS Paint, and then save it as a JPEG.

a long time back, someone here on freep showed me how to get a pic off the local drive - but unfortunately, my 2K memory gets fuzzy after retaining things like my home phone and directions to work - and i plumb forgot how to do this.
