Kerry Wins Debate John Kerry won the debate Thursday night, 53% to 37%, according to a random sample of 615 registered voters who watched the event. Almost half of the viewers said they felt more favorable about the senator because of the debate, and 60% said Kerry expressed himself more clearly than did President Bush. Despite the positive assessment, viewers said they favored Bush in handling the war in Iraq and serving as commander in chief, little changed from opinions expressed before the debate. And a majority of viewers said it was Bush who better demonstrated he is tough enough for the job.

"what do you thinbk about what about what our Bush said last night"

"he has decided that he has weighed priorities and those big tax cuts of his for the rich"

I don't know, Samantha (member since...TODAY), but I think you might want to disguise yourself a little better with your next post.

Troll.

Kerry came out for the following:

1. More nuclear materials to Korea
2. More nucleat materials to Iran
3. Disarm US nuclear programs
4. Global Test for war.

If GWB does not pounce on this - thei are truly stupid.

Sounds more to my like kerry is a better speaker, but bush won the debate on substance since he is still favored.

I just emailed PETA asking them to bring charges against Kerry for beating that monkey on live tv last night.

Do you mean kerry beat Bush (in which case you may be a troll), or kerry ? (in which case you may still be a troll)

Based on kerry's record of voting based on polls and pressure, I'm afraid kerry won't see the operations in Iraq through. He didn't support suppression of communism in SE Asia and Central America, in fact, he fought, politically, against the anti-communist forces. If he were in charge, I'm afraid he'd place bringing the troops home above winning in Iraq, to say nothing of submitting to pressure from the UN and France.

Sounds like the DUmmies are in an absolute panic lather.... Their guy did about as well as he can hope to, and it didn't make a damned bit of difference.... America wants a president who will represent them, NOT the U.N., not France, and not the Born Again Hippies of the left.

I was very upset after watching the debate I could hardly sleep. I wanted the President to go tough on that big lier, but he didnt. I'm much better now because the President still have strong support from all of us.

Thankfully, the numbers didn't change much. I was listening to the debate on the radio and Kerry came off much better than Bush. Bush stumbled over questions, rambled, and missed some openings to do some damage in rebuttal (e.g. after Kerry talked about insufficient body armor for our troops, Bush didn't point out that he voted against an appropriations bill authorizing such expenditures, but rather went on some rambling tangent about "freedom" and "going on the offensive")

I want to know what was with Kerry nodding "yes" when Bus was slamming him during the debates. Did anyone notice this? Kerry jotting down notes as he was speaking?? What was that about? Some think he was checking off his answer that coencided with Lerhers questions.

This sounds like an accurate reflection of public sentiment. As bad a night as we had, debates have only so much relevance to reality. As effective as Kerry is verbally, he and his positions are fraudulent. His hindsight criticism is cheap, and his promises belie his abundant public record. Stay the course.

John Kerry Wins debate, but did nothing to change voters views of him on key issues.

Is not the objective of a debate to change peoples views on key issues therefore, winning the debate?

I guess I'm missing something here and need the MSM to tell me how it works!!!!!!! :-)
