CSPAN is the way to go on watching this. You get the split screen the whole time, and Kerry looks even more like a condescending jerk when he has his mouth shut, and is listening to what Bush says.
Bush makes a great point...how can Kerry build such a great alliance to lead us to success in Iraq when he says it's the "wrong war" and a "great diversion". If it's the "wrong war" and a "great diversion" then nobody is going to want to join the alliance! Best point of the night!
This week's TV Guide has a piece about the debates. After reading this, now I know why Kerry flip-flops so much. He throws out an answer to EVERY question whether he knows the true answer or not. Just so he 'appears' to know what he is talking about!
(Kerry) has a very strong ability to take any point that you make and turn it in another direction, even back against you. He's also grandmaster at the art of changing a subject without really appearing to change the subject.

Bush is doing some halfway decent offense now - "How is Kerry going to lead a coalition calling when he says they're dying for a mistake and he called everyone coerced and bribed who did stand by us?"
I'm paraphrasing, but it's an important point.
I wish he would have mentioned Howard in Australia, though.

I think Bush is doing better. He getting on message. Kerry sounds like an ass.
Bush is fighting back. Keeps hitting Kerry on his insults to our allies and sending mixed signals. It's going okay.
Lehrer's questions are all slanted toward putting Bush on the defensive. Kerry has been tossed softballs.
Good point, W. military victory was achieved so quickly, Saddam loyalists laid down their arms and disappeared, we're fighting them now.

A stone cold heart makes Kerry look good and Dubya's passion is getting the best of Bush. Shame that heartless bastard can look good.

Kerry doesn't win by shaking his head and looking down his nose. He still hasn't offered one positive suggestion as to what he would do. All we know so far is that he would have left Saddam in power!

Finally Bush is out of his shell and looking better.
