It's really painful listening to Bush. Kerry has had him on the defensive from the beginning. Kerry sounds confident while Bush has a pleading defensive tone. Not good so far.My sentiments exactly ... if this were a football game Kerry 21 ... Bush 3.

As one who inspected cargo holds and container ships at one point in my Federal career, Kerry is out of his mind if he thinks there is enough tax dollars in the world to pay all the employees it would take to inspect even a fourth of all internationally arriving ships and airplanes. What a dolt!

IMO, President Bush sounds hoarse and nervous. It isn't going as well as I'd like. On the plus side, I don't think the undecided voters are really looking at GWB, I think they're looking at Kerry and trying to decide how he strikes them. And he ain't really impressive either.
