There have been several "live threads" posted today regarding the debate starting early this morning. Let's make this the official thread.
FR Live Thread: Bush Kerry - First Debate - Thread 2 - Here we go!
Yes, he most certainly was.
The latest issue of Runners World says that Kerry ran the Boston Marathon in the 70's but no records existed then and he doesn't remember his time.

Hey Doc, what's your ring size?
Hahahahahah. Perfect!
Four people and four computers. And two of those have an 8:00 bedtime! We still fight over the "big ones." But the laptops are portable and on the wireless LAN!
LOL! He IS such a girlie man.
I'm about to drop this thread from a five-story building...watch for the cool crash!
I have and I was on my debate team in H.S.
I'm not really nervous over President Bush's performance. I really have no doubt he'll do very well indeed. More like excited, I think and I know how nasty Kerry can be.
"He wont but he will say Bush was AWOL."
Oh, if he does -- BIG,BIG mistake.
YEAH, wait till election day!
Pretty much.
LOL! I wish I could reach through and wash that tan off his face.
Who is Donna Shalala??? Other than prez of U of M. Didn't she have a govt job in the Slick Willy admin??
And this is one of the things that happened in Baghdad today:

Kerry jackolantern - that has to be the funniest thing I've read in awhile! (and prophetic!)
LOL! We must be about the same age...haven't heard that one for, er, well, decades.
The last few times I've heard him (clips on FNC - tonight will be the longest I've had to listen to him), Kerry hasn't mentioned Vietnam by name but has always referred to it in some roundabout way. We'll see how he manages to do this tonight.
W' ought to talk about everything in a way that totaly invites some type of reference to Vietnam and then watch Kerry step in it.
Praying for Bush.
I executed an old cathode ray computer monitor and the CPU before hauling them away to the landfill in Helena. Put a .40 FMJ through each. Never did like that computer much.
Whatever works for you.
Shalala:
All tickets received by University of Miami were given to a student.
