I'm on FReep so often that when I read an article at another site I scroll down for the comments.LOL. I thought I was the only one that did that.
I had to get a retread job on my mouse wheel.

Amen to that! Let's hope some political dim-wit doesn't tell the soldiers to "fall-back" again like the last 3 times.

Taking care of business while the 'rats are distracted by trying to spin what I expect to be a Kerry catastrophe. Truly I will be disappointed to have any other result. I don't see how John Kerry can hold it together in front of a national audience for 90 minutes without a tight script. He is almost assured of going off on some meaningless tangent which will brand him a ditherer in the minds of the electorate. In the meantime, the President still has his mind on his job, and the offensive in Samarra shows it.
It's nice to see things going the good guys' way, for a change.

you cant upstage yourself with 35 dead children on the ground. I would have put a bit differently, but I think it expresses the same sentiment:
You don't worry about upstaging yourself with 35 dead children on the ground.
At least a Cowboy doesn't. An orange hued metrosexual gigalo girlie man, OTOH ....

CNN says US forces are taking the town "sector by sector, street by street."
Says it is happening in the dark and the gunfire is fierce. Lord grant them victory over the murderers of children.

I couldn't believe it (well yes I could it was CBS radio) when I heard on the top of hour national news that "Insurgents" had killed a bunch of kids who where flocking to US troops handing out candy. I yelled at the radio "Terrorists, stupid, not Insurgents". Insurgents don't deliberately kill the kids of their neighbors, Terrorists do ... especially foreign ones (like Iranians, Palestinians or Syrians) since they aren't really *their* neighbors kids then.

I'm taught in business and government, not to handle the same piece of paper a second time.
Either act on it, file it or shred it.
Forget filing. We need to act on it in Iraq, and SHRED those terrorists, once and for all!

Screw the 'coalition gov't' negociations. Go in, kill. Leave one escape route for an ambush. Something. Just make it hurt them.

Good. I hope they get Zarqawi and take him out of there--in pieces.
