When did she say THAT?????? I'm in the IVAN destruction zone and we had no power for a week (many STILL don't!) If she said that about us, it should be PLAYED OVER AND OVER AND OVER on the radio and TV commercials in FLORIDA! Kerry and his Euro-Bitch WOULD BE LYNCHED!!!!!!!

Teresa Heinz-Kerry's remark was about letting the people in HAITI do without clothes (the point being that it is so far away and so remote that they needed drinking water and food and medicine first, before clothes, in the limited space available on ships and planes or whatever). One valid point was not that it was inaccurate or wierd but that it resonates like the alleged remark by Marie Antoinette (which was probably invented by her political enemies, though), "Let them eat cake". Since she has personal wealth between $1,000,000,000 and $3,000,000,000 that will resonate very well with the average middle class voter. I also think something could be done with it in the African-American community if it were taken as an insult to the African-heritage people in Haiti.

With regard to the question of Kerry being ahead among all REGISTERED voters but behind among LIKELY voters, we need to act with the sure knowledge that this presidential election will be very high turnout (legal or illegal) so that basing any hope at all on "likely" voters is irrelevant. Millions of "unlikely" voters are going to vote legally, and millions of "even more unlikely" voters are going to vote illegally. SO we need to act scared and keep working until the polls close 11/2.
