NEW YORK The conservative answer to Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," featuring columnists Charles Krauthammer, Michael Medved and Fred Barnes, premieres tonight in Washington, D.C.
"Celsius 41.11" (subtitled "The Temperature at Which the Brain Begins to Die") not only attempts to debunk what its producers call the "propaganda" of the Moore film but also deconstructs John Kerry's 20-year Senate record.
It is scheduled to run in theaters nationwide before the election.
Writer-producer Lionel Chetwynd is often referred to as one of Hollywood's few "vocal Republicans." Director is Kevin Knoblock. It also features former U.S. Senator and actor Fred Thompson.
The film was reportedly made for $900,000 with backing from the group Citizens United.

Looks like this might be the first movie that I've gone to ('of my own free will') in several years!

Syriously.
The trailer is excellent. So many have been deceived by Moore. V's wife.
I certainly hope this gets out, although it will not get anywhere near the distribution of that piece of garbage, Farenheit 911, by that piece of garbage, Michael Moore. I have just returned from 6 weeks in Europe, where Moore's trash has had a huge distribution and showing - and the Europeans believe every word of it. They didn't even want to hear about the numerous clever falsifications, misleading use of images, and outright lies that were contained in it.
They also seem to believe that Michael Moore is being repressed by the US government (this is what Fatso himself said in some appearances he recently made in Europe). I asked them how a director whose work is financed mainly by a foreign-born billionaire who is now a US citizen and who has openly proclaimed that his main goal in life is to get rid of Bush, and who is roaming the world making anti-Bush and anti-American speeches and receiving big bucks for doing so, could possibly claim such a thing. But reason doesn't enter into their love for Michael Moore. They love him and his trashy opus because he says what they want to hear.
Would like for the trailer to be made into a commercial by a 527.
