It is not a completely liberal screed, but you can tell by the tone that the reviewer didn't agree with the movie the way he keep referring to the crowd as "solidly Republican" and it wouldn't gross $100 million like Fahrenheit 9/11 did. He also commented on how it was financed by a Conservative group and etc.
I am just suprised that the The New York Times would even bother to review it.
He pointed out that Michael Moore agreed not to run commercials, but I recently saw one announcing its' release on DVD.

"This film wins an entry into the debate," said Jerome R. Corsi, an author of "Unfit for Command," the best-selling critique of Mr. Kerry's Vietnam record.
Best selling, yes. Reviewed by the NYT, no.

Me too, it was pretty mild. I was expecting the author to belch brimstone.

A F/911 comercial was on Comedy Central (Viacom/CBS) tonight.

That is probably where I say it. It may have been BRAVO...I know...I know...Bravo is liberal land, but I like to watch Columbo reruns.

Decent review considering its from the Times. Hopefully this helps get the word out and it gets into the theaters.
To: Arnold Zephel
I saw it twice during "The Aprentice".

I'd love to see this film. Hope it shows up in my neck of the woods.

Uummm, fellas....this is not a review of the movie. It's a news story about the movie. Let's see if it actually gets reviewed in the Times when...or if...it is ever released commercially in the theaters. You'd think that a movie shown in a film festival would warrent a full-blown review, but apparently conservative film festivals don't count.

Isn't there another movie showing the inaccuracies in Farenheit 9/11 called FarenHype 9/11. I think Dick Morris had something to do with it, or is that just a book he's written?

It looks like you are right. It is not a full review. I connected to the story through myway.com and it was under New York Times Movie Section. With further investigation of the New York Times Movie section, the story appears under the news subsection of the New York Times movie section.

With a MSM like ours...who needs commercials?

Democrats have been lamenting that their candidate is too much brain, too little heart, in contrast to the Republicans' emotionally appealing message. I'm really getting tired of the Dems claiming all of their candidates are geniuses. Kerry's not smart; he's just verbose.

The full line goes:
Therefore, since brevity is the soul of wit,
And tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes,
I will be brief: your noble son is mad:
Mad call I it; for, to define true madness,
What is't but to be nothing else but mad?
Quite.

I couldn't agree with you more. If he were so intellectually superior he would get off Vietnam and Iraq. He has no credibility with Vietnam due to the Swifties and his own actions upon returning from Vietnam. He has no credibility with Iraq because of his perpetually changing position on the war and whether or not he supports it.
