A man called Sean Hannity after 4 PM ET today. Said he lived in Naples, FL, but originally lived in MA. He said that Kerry lost his first congressional race when networks aired a film of Kerry (in uniform) burning & urinating on an American flag. Sean was skeptical. The guy suggested checking with possibly John O'Neill or Howie Carr in MA. Anyone ever hear about anything like this?

This hag in a Yahoo political chat room was saying last night that Republicans are lazy about going to the polls and can be defeated by feeling that Bush has it in the bag. Then she went on to talk about all the new demonrats that have registered and how they are not being counted in the polls.

She is correct and accurate.

That thread explains it all. Dornan displayed a burnt American and South Vietnamese flag. He never said he had the North Vietnamese flags, jut that they were there all around Kerry. He inferred he even has pictures the public hasn't seen that don't make Kerry look good.

Not true: radio call sign (on the boats) was "Boston Strangler" ...

Unless he needed two call signs because he was speakin' out of both sides of his mouth even then.

(The reported flag-burning episode would have been immediately after he left his easy NY admiral aide's billet (early from active duty!) but before he left Reserve duty ...He left the Navy early to campaign for Congress, and it was during this campaign according to the caller.

Re: ad, I think they were referring to the one Sean played. A womans voice, talking very slowly... Kerry meeting the enemy... advocating the enemy position to Our US Government. Very compelling!

Here is what I know -

I have a very good friend associated with the Republican Party leadership in MA for a long time. This person claims to have seen the proof.

The person said at the time it was uncovered it wasn't used and gave me the reasons but I can't remember why right now.

I know Howie Carr (local columnist and talk show host) says he has NOT seen it and has been looking for years.

All I can say is there is hope that it is true - if my friend actually saw it as claimed.

This has to be wrong. If there was video of Kerry urinating on the flag, it would have been discovered long ago and used against him.
