What is it with the national Republican party? It's the same here in California. They don't support their candidates.
While I can understand them being lackluster about Bill Jones (who??) here in CA, I had previously read that Nethercutt had a pretty good chance against OsamaMama. What happened?

Patty Murray is an imbecile-- Bin Laden did no such thing. His family built things, but they're
contractors, not philanthropists. Osama had NO SOCIAL PROGRAMS. Ask the people of Afghanistan or Sudan.
Osama didn't get popular in the Arab world because of benevolent Leftist-style social programs, he got popular for killing Americans. PERIOD. Social programs don't win over bloodthirsty Islamofacists, spilling blood does.

She said Murray planned a formal response in a conference call with former Sen. Max Cleland, D-Ga., a Vietnam veteran and triple amputee. How, exactly, is Max Cleland the answer to her problem? What, when they have no answer they trot out Max in the hope that no on would dare contradict him because it would be "questioning his patriotism"?
