Excellent dust devil. Bigger than most. I remember we used to run into the middle of them with our eyes closed, just to feel the wind. I'm older now, though, and just watch.

Cool. Had one once go over a swimming pool and it picked up water and 'rained' over the patio and bushes. As a kid, it was too neat...

That was a good one. Nice, tight spiral enables the dirt to fill it in and make it look like a tornado.
The only ones I've ever seen were much larger, they couldn't suck up enough dirt to not be able to see through it.

Wow! I watched one go across a field during a marching band competition and carry a pizza box over a 100 feet in the air till it was out of site.
It's just a shame the band on the field wasn't doing a Wizard of Oz show....
