We are planning a prayer vigil for Terri. What we'd like to do is cover the time of the next hearing (to be held Thursday 9/30/04) for Terri in prayer. We'd like to have some help from other Freepers who might be interested in praying for Terri for an hour.
Terri needs her own song and I hope it won't have a sad ending.
I have to step out for 'bout 30 minutes.
The Power Hour web site has a song for Terri but the more the merrier. The song on their web site is an amazing work of art.
Thank you, Lord for hearing our prayers. I know you do not ignore those who cry out for justice. I believe you have given what we have all asked in your Name, Amen.
Pray On!!!!
I had a peaceful feeling while we prayed last night. Please let us know as soon as you hear anything. The suspense . . .
No news at all.
1John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Thank You Lord, for hearing the prayers for Terri. We know that she is in Your hands. In Jesus name, Amen
We Praise You, O God! We give You all of our Thanksgiving, Worship, and Honor, and All the Glory for everything You have accomplished here in our midst!
Amen and Amen. Having done all, stand.
Amen!
Amen!
Is there any word yet?
I'm proposing we continue the prayer schedule until Greer issues a ruling. Anyone in agreement?
Yes, I was thinking the same thing.
I'm definitely willing.
I believe in my heart that we should stay vigilent for Terri's sake.
I couldn't help but pray for Terri throughout the day.
If another schedule is put up, count me in.
Bud here.
As posted by amdgmary on another thread.
"Bay News 9 just showed the segment on today's court hearing. Judge Greer looked angry during the hearing. Greer stated that if this was something new, then it could not have been part of Terri's Catholic beliefs. Greer looked as if he was ready to dismiss the motion. Felos was arguing that the Pope's statement on withdrawing food and water was irrelevant to Terri's case."

Sheesh. Terri's legal opponents were quoting a local priest before. Now the Pope weighs in and he doesn't count!
Unfortunately, appeals judges assume the facts have previously been laid out. They're mainly looking for procedural flaws.
