Prayer vigil for Terri Schindler-Schiavo

We are planning a prayer vigil for Terri. What we'd like to do is cover the time of the next hearing (to be held Thursday 9/30/04) for Terri in prayer. We'd like to have some help from other Freepers who might be interested in praying for Terri for an hour.

How we Thank You and Praise You for this Blessing You have granted to us all, to come together as the Body of Christ to lift up our sister Terri in prayer! Knit our hearts together as One, our Precious Savior, as we join hands spiritually, forming a chain of Love and Protection around our Terri. We Bless You and we Worship You, Lord Jesus, our Living God! We feel Your Sweet Presence in this place of prayer, and our hearts are filled with Joy that You hear our fervent cries!

Please Bless and Empower every soul who pleads with Thee to stay the murderous hand of Darkness; please fill us to overflowing with Your Blessed Holy Spirit. We are Warriors for Terri, and we will not cease to 'batter down' the Doors of Heaven on behalf of Your Chosen, Your sweet little daughter! Thank You, O God, for all You are doing in our midst, and we will Praise You in the Name of the King of Kings, our Loving Savior, our dear Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Father, I lift up Terri, and all those like her to You. All those who, tonight, are powerless and helpless against the hands of those who warehouse them; those who are considered to be less than living beings, You consider to be Your children.

You are God, and You have called us to pray. You would not have asked us to pray if You had not meant to listen. I call You now. What would You have me do?

Father, save Terri, and all those whom You sent her to represent. Hold their hands in the night, and let them feel Your presence. You are God. Let us hear You, and do as You call us to do...

In Jesus name save Terri, Father... I believe in You.

I just donated and sent the following note:

As the mother of a severely disabled 20 year old daughter who neither walks nor talks, who still wears diapers and who used to have a feeding tube and be on a respirator for three years, I am praying (actually thanking the Lord ahead of time--1 Thes 5:18) for Terri and her family. I am thanking Him for giving Terri and her family the help she needs to overcome the wishes of her husband, his lawyer and Judge Greer, for restoring her to her parents' custody, and for having all things work together for good for those who love the Lord (Romans 8:28).

O God our King, how we love You, Gracious Lord! Your children bow before You, and cry out together for Your precious one, Your sweet child Terri, believing You for Great Things on behalf of our beloved sister! Hear our prayers, my Savior, my Sovereign and Merciful Master, and deliver Your cherished one out of the mouth of the lion, for the Sake of Him Who loves her, and has succored her, lo, these many years, to the consternation of her many foes.

We worship You, our Glorious Redeemer! O You Who keep our sister Terri, we lift to You our hands and our hearts in Adoration and Praise, O Lord of Hosts, our King and our God. In the Beautiful Name of our Master we pray, amen.

I can certainly bump Terri for Life as a carepovider for a brain dameged highly intelligent 25 years now son who is laughing at my incompetence in handling our furry four pawed babies.

I'm praying that minds and hearts on both sides will be prepared and open to God's promptings, for Terri's family and lawyers to have all needs to be met, for any darkness or subterfuge to be exposed and victory won over it . . . and may the Spirit fill in other details in this battle over evil.
