BTW: General Benedict Arnold was a heroic officer who led from the front, fought gallantly, and survived several REAL wounds. He turned traitor because he was passed over for a command he thought he deserved (Gen. Washington thought he deserved it, too!) and at the urgings of his Tory wife (who wanted a better lifestyle). Comparing Kerry to Benedict Arnold is an insult to Gen. Arnold.
Thank you

What really burns me is not one of those who testified to purported atrocities by US soldiers will even acknowledge that the North Vietnamese committed atrocities equal to or worse than what they say our soldiers committed.
Putting "Ridiculous" at the end of the title originally gave me a negative impression of what would follow in the post. Unless the whole post is read, some may look at the header and disregard the article thinking it is from the Left.
My opinion.
Fox reported that the Swifties have another new ad coming out tomorrow. In discussion on the 527's, they displayed a clip from Susan Estrich who said they generally have been ineffective EXCEPT for the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads. An amazing statement from one of the libs most ardent supporters.
(Don't remember which program the story was on -- trouble is I fall asleep with the repeat of Brit's Special Report and wake up with Fox and Friends!)
Arnold was a brilliant general, one of the heroes of Saratoga. He was insulted by being passed over and he let his ego get in the way of doing what was right.
Kerry was not a brilliant military man, he got wounded moving away from the fight, and his ego drove him to do what was wrong, all he has ever wanted was power and the spotlight, regardless of the consequences, and he will lie, cheat and steal to get it.
I agree. I almost did not read it. The title should have left off the word "Ridiculous" all together. Readers will want to know what a hero has to say about John Kerry. The "Ridiculous" at the end gives the impression that what the Medal of Honor winner has to say about John Kerry is ridiculous. It is a great article and should be read by everyone.
Same here.
Sorry. But to me it reads that a MoH winner thinks that the very idea of Kerry as president is ridiculous.
At least four Medal of Honor Winners have recently made public statements regarding John Kerry's campaign all with similar sentiments:
Patrick Brady
Geo. "Bud" Day
Robert O'Malley
James Fleming
A little bit of "pajamahadeen" focus on their statements might be just the thing to keep the campaign focused on Kerry's "character"
(Excuse me now, even using the quotes around "character" leaves me needing to go wash my keyboard)
To date John Kerry has refused to sign DOD form
180 for release of his military records to the media:

I hope you are right because everyone should read it.
I am not trying to flame you, it just chapps my but when I see people posting that medals for valor and combat or even just plain achievment are won, IMHO I think using the wor dwon cheapens what we do.
Thanks for letting me rant, and have a good day.
This will be their new excuse. The SBVT tilted the whole election. That's right, a couple of commercials by Vietnam Vets completely obscured all other voting considerations. 56% percent of the country really believed JFnK had better ideas on Iraq, WOT, Social Security, the economy, etc., but when they heard he wasn't a Vietnam War Hero they decided to dump him. Four more years of "illegitimate President", filibusters, obstructionism, etc.
Excellent piece by Col. Day!
Thanks for posting it, Ray.
This piece should be posted every day at least until November 2.
Kerry lied while good men died!

Sorry.
However, "winning" is not limited to random processes like lotteries. Through preparation, discipline, hard work, persistance, determination, and courage, you "win" races, battles, games, wars, etc.
