Obama is Alive and Hiding in.....Pakistan? (Serious vanity...:-)

Obama is spending very little time in IL. He's running from all but two debates. He has not been able to drive a message. He spent all his money building name ID, and now he and his cohorts think it's over.

The Dems are complacent.

Let's take advantage of that.

Just don't tell 'em...shhhhhh....

Good question. And I'm all in favor of threads that support Alan Keyes. They shouldn't be labeled "vanity" when they're supporting conservative candidates. Isn't that what Free Republic is all about? Getting Republicans, not RINO's, elected?

It is, because Jim says so.

Oh, and he's actually held elected office and believe it or not, he's from this very state!

Good. When you're finished denigrating our conservative candidate, please spend your time well, supporting yours.

I seem to be able to do both.

I seem to be able to do both.

Now there's a talent -- doing two things at cross purposes, at the same time.

Back to topic: More reasons to defeat Obama

Obama has been labeled as one of the most dangerous men in America

Tuesday, September 28, 2004

How can one label GOP Senatorial Candidate Alan Keyes a flaming radical when his Democratic [read Socialist] opponent Barack Obama’s documented voting record proves him to be so far out in left field, he’s off of the radar screen on most issues.

Obama supports:

Don’t let Barack Obama’s smooth rhetoric and studied eloquence fool you. Obama has been labeled as one of the most dangerous men in America - winning perfect voting-record scores from the most rabid, left-wing proponents around. Obama makes Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry look anemic and has spent his entire political energies warring against the foundations of American liberties.

Remember, a hedonist is a person whose highest goal in life is pleasure. A socialist is a person whose highest pleasure is enslaving your body and soul to the State.

Vote Alan Keyes for U.S. Senator!

Here's the problems in Illinois with the GOP (as admittedly seen from afar, but perception is significant):

(1) Jack Ryan. 'Nuff said.
(2) The total inability to draft ANY in-state, competitive candidate.
(3) Finally drafting a man who had himself slammed the practice of political opportunism when Hillary!(tm) did that very thing.
(4) Explanations about why #3 doesn't apply in this case were... let's say 'less than convincing' - even on conservative ears (yes, I'm referring to mine).
(5) Right out of the box: Keyes declares affirmative action is important to maintain; slavery reparations should happen. WHAT?! Instantly, 2/3rds of the potential donors and campaign help is alienated (yes, I made that number up).

I think that the damage from (1) and (2) was enough to make even Abe Lincoln an "also ran" in this alleged race for the Senate. As hard as this might be, Keyes seems to have merely compounded the problems. This is definitely going to take a long time to cure. So do you need help? Uh huh! But I personally think that no help on earth will be useful prior to November 3rd. Why is Obama not visible? Because there's no point: save the money - campaign for others - avoid making mistakes. He has nothing to gain.

Oh, and by the way: the GOP in NC isn't exactly running on all cylinders either. I recognize we've got problems, too. One of them is named John Edwards.

I'm very glad we have Alan Keyes to inspire the many conservative activists to come to the fore --and to get more registered and voting.

Here's a poll to Freep. http://www.zwire.com/site/news.asp?brd=1719

Keyes is leading.

Who will you vote for in the U.S. Senate race in Illinois? Barack Obama: 37.4%
Alan Keyes: 42.6%
I won't vote: 5.8%
I don't live there but I would vote for Obama if I did: 8.3%
I don't live there but I would vote for Keyes if I did: 5.9%

votes: 812

Actually THAT right there is the point: I am getting seriously worried about the reports of the DEMs busting their tails to get thousands of absentee ballots into the hands of the "unlikely voters." The national vote could be at risk: they're doing the job, and the Pubbies aren't.

I have heard that the GOP has been doing something very similar, nationwide --especially registering voters in battlezone states --especially through the churches therein.

As Alan Keyes sign's off, "Keep faith."

And to all a good night.

Physician, heal thyself. :-)

You take care of NC, and we'll take care of IL, to the best of our abilities, and with as much Reaganesque optimism as we can muster.

If you can't say something positive about our efforts, or negative about the socialist Obama, I would ask you to remain silent.

Not unreasonable, I don't think.

Good luck to you down there, and Godspeed.

Don't believe in luck. God's grace and a ton of hard work by tens of thousands of freedom-loving conservatives. That's the prescription for what ails Illinois.

I too believe that the Dems are making the biggest attempt to steal this election possible. The fraud may well make '00 look like child's play. Soros is pouring in hundreds of millions of dollars to their attempted theft.

If they succeed, the Republic is in dire trouble.

We the people cannot let that happen.

"He is highly respected on Capitol Hill. When he speaks, Senators and Congressmen listen."

There are over 500 Senators and Congressmen. Name five who respect him.
