Obama is spending very little time in IL. He's running from all but two debates. He has not been able to drive a message. He spent all his money building name ID, and now he and his cohorts think it's over.
The Dems are complacent.
Let's take advantage of that.
Just don't tell 'em...shhhhhh....
;-)
What are you campaigning for, on this conservative forum, as you campaign against Alan Keyes, our candidate?
Lies. I am not campaigning against Alan Keyes.
Because I don't support him, I automatically am against him, right?
LOL
I wonder who monitors their books? Fraud in the GOP will give us conservatives a bad name, IMO.
Just please get your nose out of Illinois conservatives' business.
EV doesn't like to answer uncomfortable questions. Such as whether Keyes would commit to staying in Illinois after the election. Or whether Bush and Keyes have been in the same room together since the 2000 debates.
We're supposed to accept everything uncritically, as pronouncements from on high. Downright ungrateful of us that we don't. We are not worthy.
No, I will not.
You cannot hide the facts from people, Democrats OR Republicans.
That you can't satisfy the people who should be on your side should tell you why your numbers are so low in the polls.
I think we can all make our own assumptions about what the answers are.
The first is the incompetency with which Keyes is running his campaign.
The second is the attitude and behavior of his supporters.
Lest I be accused of doing nothing but criticizing, let me offer a few suggestions for Keyes and his supporters.
1. Start talking about issues which are of utmost concern to the voters: the economy and the war on terror.
2. Tighten up the speeches.
3. Stay on message and quit getting sidetracked.
4. Stop saying provocative things simply to garner free media time. There is such a thing as bad publicity.
Keyes helps the IL Republican party as much as pounding tons of salt into a fertile cornfield.
The only upshot? Keyes will be relagated to the dustbin of history, maybe him and Kato Kaelin can judge a music contest on a UHF station in the midwest.
Get over yourself, and don't tell me what or where to post. I don't answer to you. Deal with it.
Is there a Keyes/Obama debate scheduled yet?
Won't matter, Alan will probably chain himself to the gates and claim discrimination.
Gracias! I hope CSPAN carries them for those of us lucky enough not to be in IL. :-)
Call up C-SPAN and get on their case. If enough people want them to cover it, they just may do it.
A more execrable mob of self-righteous, hypocritical leftist-media led lemmings I've never seen.
They're not interested in honest discussion; instead, they're simply interested in acting like this. What's worst is I think they take pleasure in it.
After observing a few disagree with Keyes over abortion, I don't believe any human means will bring them around. Someone Else may. We can hope for that. :-)
In the meantime, let's keep up our spirits and continue supporting Keyes as best we can. I'm still very excited about his being in the race!
And as a wise FReeper noted before, battles may be lost, but the War will be won. That is a promise. :-)
Bump for later reading
