Director James Cameron being interviewed on Nava TV now. Seems like a reasonable guy. Sees moment as showing that small entrepenuerial companies can make progress in space exploration.

I heard earlier they're currently shooting for next Monday to finish up this little project. I need to go find the contest rules. I'm curious if they win the prize if they try again on say Monday but fail, then try a third time and make it within the two weeks.

Spaceship one is being towed over to the crowd. Mike Melville is going to get out and take a bow when it gets over there.

I would imagine so.. which is probably why they're scheduling the next try so early, to give themselves as much leeway as possible.

I love how there's a big American flag flying from the back of the SUV towing SpaceShip One.

They're towing it with a pickup truck. Gotta love it! NASA would design a 10 billion dollar special vehicle.
