WASHINGTON — Officials at the Department of Homeland Security are investigating the reinstatement of a top political appointee to the agency who was briefly suspended for failing to disclose ties to a controversial Islamic organization, FOXNews.com has learned. Faisal Gill, director of policy for intelligence at DHS, was forced to take a few days off in March after sources close to the FBI raised flags about Gill's former position as spokesman for the American Muslim Council.
The now-defunct American Muslim Council ( search) was founded in 1990 to lobby Washington for the interests of American Muslims and had been involved in community activism to that end. AMC was established and headed by Abdurahman Alamoudi ( search), who was indicted in 2003 on passport fraud and illegal finance activities with Libya. Court documents call Alamoudi an active supporter of Hamas (search), which the U.S. State Department considers a terrorist organization, and an official in an international charity group run by Usama Bin Laden's nephew

Some were placed in high positions and FBI and other Federal government agencies.
They were promoted over other people that were in twenty years of service.
Our whole government has been corrupted.

Well, it has certainly been compromised. We need to get affirmative action off the books, and get rid of this PC crap that keeps us from taking actions that make sense.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is right. I sit here incredulous at the PC stupidity of our government. They are going to get us alll killed. Just the other day it was reported that we killed a terrorist in battle in Afghanistain - but we had let him go from Gitmo.

U.N oil-for-food program is directly responsible for the deaths of American soldiers.
And I personally believe that some of this money helped finance the terrorists to do 9-11.
The Korean war, Vietnam, the United Nations are responsible for the deaths of some Americans.
Why we give money and trade with communist and socialist countries is beyond me.
Read Olly North's new book which says Russia, China, France, Germany were selling weapons to Iraq even after President Bush gave orders to go into Iraq a little over a year ago.
I think they have put United Nation personell in command structure of our military, judges, and departments of U.S. governments that make sure we go by international laws.

When did they go defunct? And this article is two months old.
Muslims sued the U.S. Federal government by way of affirmitive action and won.
