Democrats Preparing to Steal Iowa Too?
Newsmax ^ | 9/28/04 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 09/28/2004 6:06:46 AM PDT by truthandlife

More evidence the Democrats are planning an Election Day surprise for George Bush.

NewsMax's recent "Insider Report" revealed that the Democrats and their 527 groups,

as well as the major unions, were launching an unprecedented $300 million "get out the vote"

effort to defeat President Bush.

Republican strategists have warned the Democratic efforts may be laying the groundwork for massive vote fraud on Election Day.

Insider Report also detailed that Democrats have been outregistering Republican voters by a factor of 5 to 1 in Ohio and Florida.

But now there is word from Iowa that the Democrats are preparing to snag that state through "voter efforts."

The Des Moines Register details that as of last week 199,592 absentee ballots have been requested -- with most of these coming from Iowa's 20 largest counties.

As the New York Times put it, "Under Iowa law, anyone can request an absentee ballot, no questions asked . . . "

And who is asking for these ballots?

The paper said that a study of the state's 20 largest counties found that "roughly three times as many Democrats as Republicans" have requested ballots.

The Democratic operation in the state has not gone unnoticed by Republicans.

Republican Congressman Jim Leach told the Times the Iowa Democratic Party "has now become the single best organized political party in the entire country."

Back in 2000 Gore lost Iowa at the polls, but still eked out a 4,144 victory after absentee ballots were counted.

With every vote crucial in this contest, Democrats are clearly leaving nothing to chance

I am praying also. I think it is interesting that everything that the Dems have thrown at GW Bush have backfired and I really do believe it is the intervention of God. I believe it will be the same way in the Dem Vote Fraud Machine.

I got a phone call from the Iowa GOP stating that MoveOn and ACT (and other shadowy groups, they called them) were going to pose as poll officials to collect absentee ballots.

I received this call but hung up before I knew what it was about. I only remember hearing something about "shadowy figure".

This writer is correct. Absentee only for active military and perhaps the truly bed-ridden. Anybody else...if you want your vote to count then show up at the polling place with a valid ID and vote already. End of issue.

I was greatful that I could get an absentee ballot for the primaries. I was not going to be in the state on election day so I voted ahead of time. There were a lot of important things on the ballot that needed my attention. I would have hated to be disenfranchised through no fault of my own.

I don't know but Rove said they had something to counter this that could not reveal.

Oh, great! Another secret plan.....

If democRATS really believed the people wanted them-that they have a mandate - they would not need to cheat.

As one small part of "WE THE PEOPLE" I DEMAND prosecution, I DEMAND that all votes are proven legitimate. I understand that voting is a "State" thing, but we CAN NOT ALLOW our country to be taken over by LIARS and THIEVES.

I hate to sound like a 2000 democrat, but I WILL NOT ACCEPT a communist like Kerry as President.

Well, I actually never answer the home phone. It was on my answering machine with one hang-up and one offer for satellite TV.

We must have nationwide picture ID to vote

I agree. When I first started voting eons ago I had to show my drivers license. We moved out of Toledo Ohio to a rural area and everyone knows who everybody is so they don't ask here.

Wasn't Iowa one of the 5 states where Kerry pulled out all of his advertising money? Do they know something?

Rove said they had something to counter this that could not reveal. Hopefully the GOP does have a plan.

Where did you hear this? I'm thinking that the GOP is a little uncertain about how to procees here. Whatever they do to counter they will open themselves up to (bogus) charges of "voter intimidation" or "vote supression" by the likes of the NAACP, ACLU, etc.

The county will give you a list of those people who have received, but not returned their absentee ballots.

The real problem is I've heard whispers that these aggressive registerers have been pushing certain people to send in their absentee ballots, then go to the polls on election day. It will be a big mess but if we can beat them by a big enough margin it won't matter.

If Kerry and the Rats manage to steal this election through obvious voter fraud, I think they'll have more trouble on their hands than they would know what to do with. For the first time in history, I think the right side of the political spectrum would be willing to fight to keep Kerry out of office.

I can't see the JCS sitting by idly for a communist takeover of the US.

The best way around any Rat fraud is to be certain that president Bush has an insurmountable lead on Nov 1st - putting the results out of reach.

I am in Des Moines and got the same message. It said there is return postage on the envelope and you should mail it in and not give it to anyone who does not carry Republican credentials.
