TASK FORCE DANGER SOLDIERS CAPTURE LEADER OF AIF CELL
TIKRIT, Iraq -- Task Force Danger Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment detained the suspected leader of an anti-Iraqi forces insurgent cell during a raid in Kirkuk on Sept. 27 at about 3 p.m.
The Soldiers detained Husayn Salman Muhammad Al-Jabburi, suspected of leading a Kirkuk-Hawaijah based cell aligning itself with Ansar Al Sunna.
Ansar Al Sunna is a faction of Ansar Al Islam and reportedly has close ties with the Al-Zarqawi network. The Soldiers transported Al-Jabburi to a Multi-National Forces detention facility for questioning. No injuries were reported in the incident.

One thing about the increase in terrorist activity as the Iraqi election approaches is that it is resulting in an increase in US military activity, which is resulting in some big kills.

Ok, here's a question. If one of the captors put a gun by Al-Jaburri's head and fired it, terrifying him and thus getting information leading the capture or killing of Zarqawi, should that soldier be tried for war crimes? An officer was drummed out of the army for doing just that last year. My view is he should get a medal.

I like how the terrorists have been renamed the "anti-Iraqi forces" (AIF). It makes sense to label them something that'll motivate Iraqis against these terrorists.
Much better than Michael Moore's "Freedom Fighters", and Reuters' "rebels", "insurgents", and "opposing militia."
