The rally took place at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio, today. Sean Hannity interviewed several people who were there. The number of people who had tickets was over 60,000, and even more showed up. Hannity said it was the largest political rally in Ohio's history, and one of the largest ever. Enjoy the pics:
This was in Xenia, Ohio, where the bus stopped so the president could greet people:
All my relatives in Ohio are for Bush big time
I heard something about Cincy today on the radio. Can't remember exactly what, but it was along the lines of what you are reporting. Lots of enthusiasm for Dubya there.
You're welcome. Encouragement is always a welcome thing.
I want one of those!!
Even here where I live, in the greater Los Angeles area, the excitement at the local GOP HQ where I volunteer is amazing. By far the greatest interest in this election than any other I've volunteered on over a 20-year span.
60,000!!!
Excellent!
Thanks for posting.
I'll look for the headlines tomorrow:
"More than a thousand rally for Bush."
And I want a shirt, too.
Volunteer over where? Do you live in So. Cal?
Well...he beat the Bungles in crowd attention.
I have yet to see one photo of a Kerry rally with a crowd any where near the size of crowds showing up for President Bush's rallies. Anybody have any they can show me? Even today, Kerry was inside a middle school, on a platform with about 25-30 folks standing behind him...If that doesn't tell the MSM and the rest of America all it needs to know about our popular President vs. his competition, then nothing ever will.
I honestly think that if GWB's campaign had the resources to campaign here, he might have won California. But who knows...with all the enthusiasm we're seeing, combined with Dem depression, maybe a miracle can happen.
Because it SUCKS to be them!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
WOO HOO! Now all we have to do is get the president to come to Los Angeles for a rally! Maybe Arnold can persuade him!
One last thought tonight:
"I don't think I've ever seen this many bumper stickers for a republican candidate. Very few Kerry ones also."
I drove down to New Jersey last week, and spent the week there. Throughout New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, I saw a grand total of: ONE Kerry sticker.
However, I saw plenty of cars with yellow ribbons with "Support Our Troops" on them.
Call me crazy, but I think that a huge percentage of people having "Support Our Troops" ribbons on their cars are going to vote for Bush--even if they might not want to advertise, in public, being a supporter of the Republican president.
As a caveat: I must add that I did spend my week in NJ a place where environmentally-friendly people will gather (long story, for another time and place). However, I saw Nader bumper stickers in the parking lot--not Kerry stickers.
Maybe because Bush folk know that happiness is a choice and take responsibility for their own happiness while the gimmecrats are still lost in their sitting at the coffee shop whining about the evils of Capitalism orbit?
Is that what it was? I noticed the "92," but didn't figure it out. Maybe that person has been keeping it as a souvenir all these years and hoped to up its value with a presidential signature. If so, good karma. More enterprising Americans at work increasing their net worth (chuckle).
Actually, Inauguration Day is always on January 20th. It's an easy date to remember since it's my birthday. In 2001, that was a Saturday.
Wolfstar, this is FANTASTIC news. Thanks for letting us know.
