A single server can hold, literally, thousands of different, unrelated, websites. I doubt that the Kerry campaign knows, or cares, with whom this hosting company decides to do business.

A couple of things....
1. I am an Opie & Anthony fan.
2. FoundryMusic is the "unofficial" website. The authentic Opie & Anthony site is
http://www.opieandanthony.com 3. If you heard Opie & Anthony on Sean Hannity's show last week, you would know that Anthony is voting for Bush. Opie is not voting.
4. O & A return to the air on XM on October 4.

Ok, so you're saying that the Kerry campaign is buying up banner ad space on this website? Well, I doubt Kerry's going to get much response from 'Moral Majority' types of websites. That leaves him with the many, many folks who frequent sites in search of Opie and Anthony-style comedy and porn. Ads are supposed to target audiences that can actually be targetted. I don't really care where Kerry runs his ads, so long as the revenue they generate isn't used to fund illegal activities. Kerry could run ads on FreeRepublic for all I care. He'd be wasting his money, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. :-)

The content of their show aside, why is Hannity advertising a satellite radio show?
Aren't broadcast radio and sat radio programs in competition with each other?
I guees I don't have enough info to follow the money here, but I bet that's the reason for SH's show last week with O&A.

free hour of advertising I heard the whole thing, my guess is XM Radio paid handsomely for it, an editorial placement. This would make it even worse.
Why a Hannity listener would respond favorably to it, and why an advertiser would make a hostile placement like this, is beyond me. Mebbe it was becuz Hannity is also on XM somebody figgered it was worth it.
O&A are just repulsive, at least Stern occasionally shows an ounce of creativity.

I hope it's an endorsement ;-).

As the FoundryMusic site is "unofficial" (i.e.- O & A aren't paying for it), then I assume that someone is paying for it with advertisements.
Most of the banner ads are for things I am not going to support - porn, Kerry, etc.
But, you do pose an interesting question. Is this the type of place where Kerry wants his message? Given that these guy have had a big Internet following even after being off the air for 2-years, this may be the only smart thing the Kerry campaign has done. People are going to see these ads.
But, I am a Conservative and by definition that means that I have faith in people to do the right thing and to be intelligent. No matter how many times people are exposed to these ads, I still don't think they will vote for Kerry.
