Voter advocates say a late flood of new registrations will lead to a confusion and lost votes on Election Day.
Election boards in Ohio's largest counties are getting nearly double the number of registration cards submitted in 2000.
The scrambe is expected to intensify this wee, as the October 4 registration deadline nears.
Election boards have hired extra staff members, extended working hours, or both, to process registration cards.
Some boards are processing them 24 hours a day.
Dennis Lieberman, chairman of the Democratic Party in Montgomery County, says surveys show that the majority of new voters appear to be Democrats.
I wish I could agree with you. I don't think they'll be discovered, because the "authorities" won't even look. Even if they do, one or two token prosecutions will be made, and that will be the end of it.
And the fraudulent ballots will still be counted and allowed to stand as "legtimate."
I got 3 people signed up to vote, and will check to make sure they vote R! (by giving them all the info, and letting them choose.)

"Our SWAT teams ... will have done nothing but prepare through the fall," said DNC counsel Bob Bauer. "We want to be able to send teams out to fight these wars simultaneously."
Please. I've been here over four years. I'm well known here. You've been here a month. You've got no room to talk.
Assuming that's your goal, then my request did you a favor.
Don't do me any favors, please.
The fact that someone asks you politely for the source of your facts should not be taken as a personal affront to you
Would that it were so, but your tone was accusatory and challenging. We've had a rash of trolls from DU here lately. You're a newbie, so you're suspect. Sorry, but that's the way it is. And the tone of your first post to me doesn't do much to convince anyone that you're not a troll.
But that's enough on that.
Yes ma'am, so it would seem. But I believe even with this added "help", Lurch is still too weak to win.
I hope so. I'm not in the mood for a civil war.
Yes, but the Board of Elections helps them vote. They may have their children fill out the ballot, or they may just pick a name that appeals to them. They can't be relied upon to vote Dem.
I do have a problem with letting people who haven't the foggiest notion who is President, or know anything about the current issues vote, but that's our system. I don't know how to fix it without also affecting younger people who just aren't aware. Sean Hannity did a bit a week or so ago where he was asking young people if they knew the Dem VP candidate, Stu Ped, and most said they did. The old folks vote as sensibly as these kids do.
Me neither, but we must do what we must.....if war is what they want.
(remember Libs hate guns, this could be their downfall...)
Just heard this issue brought up on "Outside the Beltway" radio show. The 'pub spoksmen said they are away of this and have people on location looking into it and are prepared with contigencies.
Whoever you Democrat Party Operatives in Ohio are, you had better start hiring some damn good defense lawyers.
Voter fraud ping
They're registering dead people, dogs and invisible six foot rabbits. They're going to stuff ballot boxes like crazy, and have over 100% voter turnout in precincts. Major fraud under way.
"can't be relied upon to vote Dem"
They do vote DEM because the party workers are the ones signing them up .. and they do it by absentee ballott. They can control what party and who they vote for.
It's very nasty .. but when you're desperate for power .. you'll do anything.
Lakeland Community College in Mentor Ohio has a job posted for exit pollsters to call in every hour, the rats favorite way of fraud is to find if their candidate is losing, and to (ahem) make a call for the extra voters that they have hired to get to the polls!
Not quite. The Dems sign them up, but the Board of Elections workers help them fill out the absentee ballots. The BoE is very strict about not leading them to either party.
A lot of them don't remember who helped them register by the time they get the ballot.
snakes...
Yes, I understand what you are saying. But when people get worried about the numbers of people registering, the mall kids should be factored in.
in fact, with motor voter, its quite easy. and its quite easy to lose by fraud when the opposition (us, in this case) doesn't say a word about it and rolls over and dies when it happens.
