He can't take the sticker off. That would be destroying the evidence! The investigation should be complete in mid-November?

"They could cut his hair and send him to Iraq."

I'm sure that is on the very top of the list the DUers are making.

Definitely illegal to put campaign stickers on government vehicles. So, who is going to volunteer to go tell this gentleman to remove it? I think I am quite busy till the war is over.

Can he get in trouble for that?+++++++++++++

Only if someone complains and he admits to putting the sticker there. Ofcourse, the entire company will swear that a mad Iraqi ran up and put the sticker on the LAV and the Co has sand in his eyes and can't see.

Illegal? Besides, who said the soldier in the photo is the one who put it there? Maybe the company commander is the culprit. Salute!

I agree, we have no idea who put it there. Furthermore, I am sure there is a law against a civilian touching a military vehicle without authorization.

"Yeah, I put it on there. What are they gonna do... shave my head and send me to IRAQ?!"

Oohrah Marines. By the way, when I was on active duty during the Clinton "reign of terror", I not only had pro-GHW Bush and pro-Dole stickers on my POV (privately owned vehicle), I had ANTI-Clinton stickers on it as well. At the time, no one said a damn thing to me about them (most of the Marines I knew respected the OFFICE of the President, but hated that disgusting piece-o-sh*t that was occupying it at the time). If someone HAD said something to me, I would have said, at the time, what are they gonna' do, shave my head and send me to Okinawa?!. One other small thing, the pic above shows a W bumper sticker on either a LAV or amtrac, not a HMMWV as someone in an earlier thread thought. Semper fi.

It's the only say he has regarding anybody in his command structure. All the way up the line somebody else decides. At the top, his vote counts as much as Rumsfeld's.

I hope our military turns out and votes in huge numbers this November.

Anyone wanna venture a guess as to the % of votes Bush will get from our servicemen and servicewomen?

An East Coast Ivy League atheist professor was teaching a university class and he told the class that he was going to prove that

there is NO GOD. He said, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you 15 minutes!"

Ten minutes went by all the time taunting God,"Here I am, God. I'm still waiting."
As the last minute approached he smugly smiled.

A young US Marine, just released from active duty and newly registered in the class walked up to the professor, hit him full

force on the chin sending him flying from his platform and crashing to the floor.

The professor struggled up, badly shaken and yelled,"WHAT's the matter with you! Why did you do that?"
The Marine replied, "God was busy. He sent The Marines!"

It looks like the sticker is on the inside of the vehicle door.

ROFL You may very well be correct. Marines are not bright and they might have mounted that tail light, just above the sticker, on the inside also, though I sort of doubt it.

LOL! That's a taillight?? Well, never having been a solder, or a solderette, and not having slept at a Holiday Inn last night, how was I to know?

All right, who has the copy of "Girl's Guide to Men and Military Materiel"? Pass it over.

He's a PFC what could they do to him bust him down a rank? That will teach him a thing or two(rolleyes)

No, I'm serious. They could give him some disciplinary action, and make his life miserable, thanks to the folks at DU.
