Thought a thread in Breaking News for the weekend covering Hurricane Jeanne would be a good thing. Post your link, pics, updates and freeper check-in's here
hehehehe - sounds like our Browns.
Ouch. Why did he have it done and did it go okay? Hope the recovery goes well. Rehab for repaired joints is a pain. Literally.
What county are you guys?
can hubby swim?
LOL. And will he set of airport security beebers when he passes security?
golly! But.. isn't this same storm going that way (to maine, and there abouts)
Thanks for reminding me of that site...I did find a person who had been on my street several days after the storm and the house was standing!
After a week family got to go and check and empty the freezer...STINKY!!
Wow.
And how can they move a med school from Cayman to Maine??
I have a niece at Palm Beach Atlantic.
Well, at least Miami didn't lose again this week.
I had FORGOTTEN about your moving to FL to oversee your Mother. Where are you? How is Mom?
Prayers lifted for your safety, and all Floridians and others in the path.
Looks like she wobble north again, a little.
Well I do have good news -- nothing to do with car insurance -- landfall is gonna keep the eyewall about 40 miles south of Melbourne and Indiatlantic. Hurricane force winds likely, but damage should be roughly equivalent to Frances. Maybe less since Jeanne's trucking and Frances crawled.
That may be about 10 miles too north... although the eye may "crawl" a bit north as it forces its way inland.
Yea, I guess they say a little south, but with the eye that big, IMO even 30 miles isn't that much.

If ya can believe the models looks like jeanne may do a mad Ivan loop de loop and do a encore!
We're in Pinellas.
He's young for a hip replacement (47) but it was due to a sports injury. We've known for 10 years he was going to need one, but were putting it off as long as possible.
Rehab guys will show up at the house on Monday, but he did well in rehab at the hospital. Getting around on a walker, and was able to make it up the stairs into our home with just a little help from our teenage son.
Dolly...well don't think he can swim, but maybe float. He has to wear some foam attachment to keep his legs in place while he's sleeping, so maybe that can serve to make him more buoyant, LOL.
That's good news at least for my place north of Cocoa in Brevard County (I'm now in a hotel in west Orange Co.). Channel 9 weather guy also saying landfall is further south but the huge size of the eyewall still will be a factor.
