POSSIBLE SCOOP: Is John Kerry running an ad featuring lying convicted felon?

Posted on 09/24/2004 3:42:18 PM PDT by Aleph

I'm going to give you all the information I have and hopefully people here can narrow this down and verify it.

I was just listening to the Chris Baker show on 950 KPRC and a woman called in response to another caller who implied George Bush wasn't being honest with people about his record.

Her response was that it's John Kerry who's trying to mislead people, because he's running an ad in battleground states featuring a man who claims he voted for George Bush in 2000 but will be voting for John Kerry this year.

The host asked her why she considered that misleading.

Her answer?

The man in the commerical is a MEMBER OF HER FAMILY and is actually a CONVICTED FELON and who was INELIGIBLE to vote in 2000 and will STILL BE INELIGIBLE this year!

Is it possible John Kerry really has an ad featuring an endorsement from a felon stating his intent to ILLEGALLY vote for John Kerry?

That's all I know, unfortunately. And I don't have time to chase this down and verify it. If anyone else here knows of the ad, and knows if it's one of the ads on his site, it'd be a hell of a scandal if it's true. It's possible the man's name is in the ad.

Wish I had more, but it's a start.

Yes of course, why would I think that the dems would think it would be too obvious and easy to check. They are not that smart.

Kerry fired this felon before re-hiring him to do the commercial. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

There is nothing on Chris Bakers official website about this call===maybe it's too current to have earned inclusion in the list of archived "favorites". But I sent an e mail through the 'site explaining our curiousity over this call and whether he was able to verify it or what else he was able to find out.

Former Air Force guy McPeak is featured in such an ad. I forget his rank..general I think. One of those perfumed generals like weasley clark. Good for nothing but supply clerking.

The guy saying he was against Bush "because of his alarm over the president's environmental record, especially in protecting waterways", is spouting straight up Green TPs.

I had to deal w/this topic w/a leftist on another forum this summer and did some research. This administration, in regard to the Chesapeake Bay, at least, has been more than engaged. The monies alloted were somewhere around $10M, the causes were pinpointed (slow moving streams and ground water) and the various local Water Policy Management Boards were already using the grants to accomplish cleanups. I am betting this is being done all over the country where there are problems.

But this is a MoveOn ad w/MoveOn members. It is just more propaganda, regardless of the veneers.

Someone may want to run this down, just to illustrate the trap theory. But since they are using ideologues to playact while illustrating their ideology, it looks like a waste of time.

All research involves running down blind leads and finding nothing. In fact, when a trail is easily followed and the answers fall neatly into place, one should be extra cautious, IMO. I would want to see more than two correlated sources that are not at all connected, in a case such as this one.

I realize that the “Real People” ads are clearly propaganda, and I have no problem with the president's environmental record. I was just trying to copy the paragraph from the source I was quoting. My point was that it seems MoveOn was not honest in saying that Richard Dove had voted for Bush in the last election.

I can actually believe they are that dumb. They are desperate. Remember, they spent over a week publicly using forged memos.

"brother in law's father in law" or something semi-convoluted like that...

I got a headache from this one! Could the female caller be identifying her father? Sounds like she may have had her script written by Carville.

OMG...lol...that's typical Democrats for ya. Dead, illegal aliens, felons, street people....don't matter with them.
