Statement by Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Chairman Gov. Marc Racicot (On Kerry attacking Allawi)
George W. Bush ^ | September 23, 2004

Posted on 09/23/2004 2:36:25 PM PDT by RWR8189

ARLINGTON, VA – Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Chairman Gov. Marc Racicot today issued the following statement:

"Today, John Kerry showed he lacks the judgment and credibility to lead the United States of America to victory in the War on Terror.

"His attacks on the veracity of the Iraqi Prime Minister's historic address to Congress reveal a stunning propensity to take political cheap shots for his own benefit by denigrating our allies in this important struggle against a global terror network. President Bush is proud to stand with Prime Minister Allawi while John Kerry attacks progress and resolve and advocates a policy of retreat and defeat in the face of terror.

"John Kerry said today, 'And when you people judge me and the American people judge me on this, I want you to judge me on the full record.' We're confident the American people will."

Kerry actually accused Allawi of flip-flopping!!!

He said that his story was different today than it was a few days ago when Allawi said that terrorists were pouring over the border. Well, Allawi even today said that Iraq is a front in the war against terror, but that the good guys are winning in more places than not, and that even in places like Fallujah we are making progress.

I just cannot believe how Kerry bold face lies time after time. The sad thing is that there are many Americans who will not even know because the only news they get are sound bites on the alphabet networks.

"John Kerry has forgotten the core of the Constitution. "Secure the blessings of Liberty for ourselves and our Children"

I seriously doubt that that is the core of Kerry's constitution.

Yes, and God forbid.

We have to GOTV as if we're 10 points behind - all the way till Election Day.

I can not believe that JFK failed to meet with a foreign leader regarding Iraq. So instead he attacks the foreign leader from a safe distance(Columbus, Ohio). This is how JFK makes Iraq the centerpiece of his campaign(for today).

Oh, and by the way, here's a nugget of ... well... never mind over at the DUmp. Truly delusional:

"The longer the enemy remains lulled into complacency, the better for OUR SIDE.

Let them think bush is ahead, and has a large margin, and that everything is ducky everywhere (especially Iraq) except DanRatherLand. Let them. Let them think it's in the bag, so they don't have to sweat it. Meaning: they DON'T have to send more money. They DON'T have to worry about getting out the vote. Hell, they DON'T even have to show up on Election Day. LET THEM THINK THEY'RE IN FAT CITY. Then let them have a rude awakening on the following morning."

Ssshhh... :-)

One thing that has been great during this campaign is that the Bush campaign has been willing to go toe to toe with the Kerry folks and answer back when Kerry or his folks make comments about the President.

How embarassing! Kerry is such a total self-serving idiot! His run for the WH is the ONLY priority he has. He slams the Prime Minister because he doesn't like what the Prime Minister has to say?? This is diplomacy?

I am thinking of writing an open letter to Prime Minister Allawi, apologizing for the disrespectful and self-serving comments made by Comrade Kerry......

As James Taranto in Best of the Web Today put it:

Such effrontery! Imagine, some Arab thinking he knows what's going on in his own country! Does Iyad Allawi know who John Kerry is?

Kerry: "...you people..."

The use of "you people" has always been, in my mind, a very denigrating statement.

I like that pic but the iceberg is missing something.
The tip of the iceberg is "BUSH", or "Bush's principled leadership".

My FRiend, Bush is the canonical ocean upon which Kerry's boat only briefly floated.
