Heard it!!!!!!!! How Allawi's speech was censored. How the admin is lying about Iraq and spending $87 billion to keep Bush in office. I am furious.

No. This war is a war on terror. Since Saddam had a relationship with AQ and supported them, this person should be sent a letter explaining it to him.

Kerry lied (again) yesterday when he said there are no links between Iraq and Al Qaeda.

He obviously has not read the Senate Intelligence Committee Report or the 9/11 Commission Report, both of which cited the many connections between Iraq and AQ.

A high ranking Iraqi fedayeen soldier attended at least one pre planning 9/11 meeting with AQ.

Saddam knew 9/11 was coming and where we were going to be hit.

Even the Clinton Justice Department was able to obtain an indictment against OBL which cited the terrorist's ties to Iraq.

A federal judge has granted two 9/11 families a multi-million dollar judgement - against Iraq.

During the 90's, the mainstream press wrote about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden. Old Media thinks we can't look these things up.

Hundreds of articles and links in this thread.

I thought Shep smacked him down pretty well, by clarifying what the man was actually saying. The fat toad was reduced to smarmy sarcasm in response.

Good for Shep.

*rolling eyes* Another idiot who would like to convince voters that President Bush was behind 9/11. Their low-down dirtiness knows no bounds.

It is now apparent that the Democrat Party, seeing the polls, has decided that its best hope is to morph into A.N.S.W.E.R., the lunatic anti-war organization.

Everyone has the talking points, and it appears that McAuliffe is going to send out the flaming liberals to be the face of the party to the media.

This will fire up the base that is anti-war, but, as Dick Morris points out, 30% of the Democrat base disagrees with this stance.

The McGovernite party returns to its roots.

I said it 7 months ago, and I'll say it again... the Dems in 2004 will go down in history as having the dirtiest presidential campaign ever.

Hang on to your britches, folks... it's going to get even worse from here on in.

This is a stupid argument to make. Bush took a stand on principle which could cost him his Presidency. The safest course Bush could have made politically was to go into Afghanistan and then stop there and leave Hussain in power. That's what Clinton would have done - only Clinton would have not sent in people to Afghanistan but would have just opted for cruise missile strikes.

That has to go on my list as one of the dumbest lies I've ever heard out of a politician mouth.

I don't know why you expected some OTHER response from them. A sincere man offers his humble thanks and these jackals behave like ... well, jackals. It's the standard Liberal reaction. Really, what COULD they say?

> ... they are saying just ANYTHING ...

Expect a serious escalation in this nonsense.

I suspect they are sensing that the Democrat party will
be reduced to minority status for a long time, and perhaps
even fragment into multiple 3rd parties when it's clear
they have nothing with which to bribe their tenuously
connected sub-constituencies.

Whatever panic it takes.

Right on. They are in a no win situation. If he runs to the middle, he can't win and alienates the left wing whack jobs. If he veers to the left, the middle is gone and he gets McGovernite shares of the vote. This has been a loser since the very beginning. They should have nominated YEEEEEAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!! They still couldn't have won but at least they could have gotten excited about him and had fun. This way they lose and are depressed all the way to the election.

Ackerman is playing to the war protesters who infest NY.

It's no longer about kerry, it's about the dems in NY keeping their seats in congress.

I've never heard of an Ackerson before. Is it maybe Gary Ackerman?

But if we freeped everyone in New York who holds these views, we'd all have to quit our jobs and do it full-time. I am seriously starting to think there's something in the water there, that turns people into lunatics, and only a tiny portion of the population is immune to it.

One thing that baffles about the Kerry strategy of railing against the situation in Iraq is that on the one hand, he claims he is going to get our allies (i.e., France and Germany) to come on board and help out.

On the other hand, why in the world would they want to do that if the situation is as dismal a failure as F'n describes?!? How is this supposed to convince them to commit money and troops?

As with most of Fn's positions, his "strategy" here makes no sense whatsoever.

Hmmm. I'm trying to get this straight.........

Allawi is only here to lie in order to support Bush in the election. I guess he doesn't care at all what happens to Iraq, huh?

I wish I could ask ol' Gary why Allawi wouldn't be all over Kerry for prez since he can be more successful in Iraq.

I've always know the Dimwits are idiots, but this election season is a topper.
