Does anyone know if they're is a date that the candidates cannot be switched out? For talking purposes, assume the ballots cannot be changed. Kerry/Edwards being on the ballot.
That does not preclude the electors (the people we actually vote for, even though e THINK we are voting for candidates) voting for somebody else (the somebody else being selected by the national party), IF, and ONLY IF the named candidate(s) is unavailable, e.g., due to illness, scandal, etc.
The problem the DEMs have is getting a majority of the electoral votes, period. If they can't do that, any switch is meaningless, moot.

For sure this man is a failure.
If his heart is so numb that he can criticize a man who risks his life every single day in Iraq as he helps to bring his nation to an actual election, as he works to help teach his nation about freedom and works to defeat the terrorists who have moved in there to fight that very thing....
well, then, john kerry, in feeding his filthy and sickening sound bites to the terrorists as well as his buddies in france and germany and his yellow bellied girlie men here at hom,...
has truly in this instance shown EXACTLY how he will govern...without decency and without consideration for the tremendous work Allawi does every single day.
John kerry is doing to America what he did in Vietnam....CBS is helping him once again....but everyone else is CATCHING ON...this man is beneath contempt.

I hope the MSM reports this, but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe Drudge will post it.

Kerry just proved himself to be lower than dog$hit. Hmmm. Look like dog$hit, smell like dog$hit, taste like dog$hit. Must be dog$hit. Good thing we didn't step in it.

The best part of this is that John Kerry is writing the Bush Campaign's next round of television commercials.

I;ve got a feeling that this hatred that is been seen in Kerry the last two days is a direct result of the SBV for Truth's ad that attacks Kerry with the Fonda/France stuff.
John Kerry doesn't dare address it, for fear of more attention then it is already getting.
Notice the DNC attacked that funny RNC Wind Surfing ad, when at the same time they didn't say a word about the SBV for truth ad?
It is doing some REAL damage.

"Daschle wouldn't give up. He followed him all over the place."
Probably trying to get film footage for his next campaign ad. First he uses Bush, then he uses Allawi.

Kerry is still living in "Viet Nam" and can't get out. I have never seen (in my 56 years of life) so much dis-respect for the president of the United States, to the media et. all. What's wrong with these newsmen.....He hasn't answered one single questiion they have asked. He just spins, slams, bashes, and never does answer. I had tears in my eys watching this performance by him today !!!

But an apology would not get Kerry off the hook. It would make him look juvenile, and make the President look like the grown-up.

Kerry cameo's bike riding, skiing, and wind surfing photo op's to show younger voters he's something they can connect with. Bush then show's Kerry's photo op's and Kerry complains? Well Mr Kerry, that is exactly why you don't do things which make you appear unpresidential.
The winsurfing ad reminds me of a "Jeff Spicolli for President" ad.

How could Kerry call Allawi a liar? What possessed him to think that would be a good idea? Kerry is a sick, sick dude.
